Schneider Gelion+ Gel Ink Cartridges, 0.7 mm, ISO Format G2, Blue Ink, Box of 10 Refills (103903)

No leaks, flows well. Works great.

I ordered the Schneider Gelion+ Gel Ink Cartridges, 0.7 mm, ISO Format G2, Blue Ink for the MCNTEIK executive pen I purchased. I needed a fine point, but I wasn't sure the gel ink would work - but it did! The blue of this gel ink is just like the color of a ball point - bold and clearly blue. There was no skipping or ink globs on the paper. The 0.7mm point doesn't leave ink globs on the paper like some gel pens do. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Really smooth writing Gel refills. They're the DIN/Parker style with the ratcheting end. I like them better than the popular name brand. Good color, consistent writing, no lines down the middle, reasonable life span.

I bought these and and several other Parker style refills for a variety of pens. These are just so so. They feel scratchy and seem to make a click noise every time I write. They do the job but I feel the actual Parker refills are much better. They do write consistently and last a good while but I won’t be buying these again. Better than some others but not the best.

If you didn’t like the Parker Gel drying up and the sloppy lines from the Itoya Gel, then the Schneider Gelion+ may be the answer. The Gelion+ does not smear, last decently long, the lines are smooth. Schneider label these pens and refills as 0.7mm. 0.7mm is the diameter of the roller ball width or top width, the line width is 0.4mm (per SchneiderPen website). If you use Gelion+ refills in Parker pens, replace the OEM spring with a 4mm OD 0.4mm wire stainless spring with an uncompressed length of 15mm. The Gelion+ refill has a wider tapered “neck” that will bind the stock Parker pen spring.

I have tried several parker size gel refills Schmitt, parker jet stream ect and I like these the best. Also seem to be less expensive.

I don’t write much, and I don’t write fast. But when I do, I like to use a nice pen. Sometimes roller ball. Sometimes gel. These refills just can’t keep up. They’re not dry when I click the pen open. But after about two sentences they run out of ink. Let the pen sit for a minute and they’re fine. Two more sentences and they’re dry. But, hey, they fit the pen, so they got that going for them.

Unfortunately these refills do not work with Parker pens. But they do fit perfectly with Rotring 600s.

Dado que ni Sakura ni Pentel (y creo que tampoco Uni-ball; Edito: ver PD) fabrican recambios con este formato de sus tintas gel Micron Pigma y Energel, y dado que el gel fabricado por Parker, Quink Gel, no tiene las buenas críticas que sí tienen Sakura, Pentel y Uni-ball, este gel de Schneider parece ser una buena opción: más económica que Quink Gel y con más calidad como viene haciendo Schneider desde 1940. He leído a personas que lo rechazan sin probarlo, confundidas por el 0,4 de grosor que dice la etiqueta de este Gelion 39. El trazo no es fino, más grueso que un recambio Parker Quinkflow M de 1mm de bola, solamente que la mayoría de fabricantes lo refieren al diámetro de la bola mientras que Schneider al grosor de la línea. En este sentido, a veces Pentel y Uni-ball lo indican claramente, por ejemplo: 0,7 de diámetro para un trazo de aproximadamente 0,35; es decir, el grosor del trazo es la mitad que el diámetro. Así, yo diría que este Gelion tiene una bola de 0,7 y un trazo de 0,4; porque es igual al Uni-ball Signo 307; el doble de lo que puede pensarse si creemos que 0,4 es la bola, que entonces sí proporcionaría una línea muy fina, lo que estaría muy bien (sería excepcional), pues los expertos dicen que el mejor boli es un gel de punta fina (0.5 o menos de bola), y a mí desde luego me gustan más, como el Hauser Open Ceramic 777 F que dejó de fabricarse en 2009 del que incluso había un SF. Pero gel con punta cónica fina son difíciles de encontrar, casi siempre son con punta de aguja. Probaré el Parker Quink Gel 0.55 F aunque duele que en España sea caro y en EEUU barato (ya no aparece en la web de Parker UK pero sí está aquí en Amazon) y, en otro formato, el Pentel LRP5. Me gustaría probar los Schmidt, a muy buen precio en Amazon. Este formato de recambio, me refiero a la forma y dimensiones, estándar ISO G2 o estilo Parker (no confundir con Pilot G2) se usa mucho, y su depósito es grande (los rollerball y los gel escriben usando más tinta, hasta 10 veces más, 350 metros un gel frente a 3.500 metros un Parker Quink Flow o 5000 Inoxgrup. De momento muy contento con el bonito color azul de este gel, más oscuro que el clarito Signo 307. Por cierto, que el color azul no es tan fácil de fabricar como el negro Del tiempo de secado no opino: no me he fijado porque no soy zurdo. Pero sí puedo ver cómo se seca la tinta mientras escribo, desapareciendo el brillo acuoso, y es como 1s. Cuando pueda intentaré subir alguna foto, esperaré a tener más tipos de recambio en mi búsqueda de un gel azul de punta cónica fina. PD: Uni-ball sacó en 2018 un recambio Jetstream para Parker (e Inoxcrom) llamado SXR-600. Inoxcrom tiene muy buenos recambios (pero en punta media). La foto de los formatos es de Wikimedia Commons. La foto de los trazos compara 3 trazos de Gelion 39 con Parker Quinkflow M y Parker Quinkflow F. Quinkflow es tinta de boli (tintes colorantes disueltos en aceite) mientras que un gel consiste en pigmentos suspendidos (no disueltos pero en mayor proporción) en agua con espesantes. El trazo del gel presenta la típica gota llamada “blob” al final de la línea que solo los mejores recambios con un flujo preciso son capaces de evitar. El trazo del Gelion es idéntico al Signo 307 que tiene un azul bastante más claro.

Possiedo una penna a sfera Montegrappa e dopo aver provato diversi refill a sfera, non ritenendomi soddisfatto ho voluto provare quelli a gel. Quelli della Parker mi hanno deluso, questi invece mi hanno sorpreso per la qualità del tratto, la scorrevolezza e la tonalità di blu. Oltretutto essendo trasparenti consentono di verificare in ogni momento il livello di carica residua.
