Definitely worth the money. We used this on our boat since we are experiencing some leaks. It allowed us to locate where the leaks were and monitor the improvement after the fix.

It's a really nice product, I'm a mold assessor. But for $1,200. You can buy the correct tools. For a lot less. This tool is very confusing. It's like learning how to use a computer after you had brain damage. My 3D imaging gun that's $500 has more pixels and works better than this. I have a general tool while moisture meter that cost 50 bucks and it works equally as good as this. I have a temperature humidity tool that cost 60 bucks. It works better than this. See what I'm saying is you got three tools that cost a lot less money than this and they work all equally as good as this and all you have to do on those other tools is turning on button and poke the thing in the wall. The other tool I turn it on I set it on the kitchen counter it tells me the humidity and the temperature of the place. And my 3D imaging gun with infrared all I do is turn it on and point it and press the button and it takes a picture and when I get back to my office I plug it into my computer and I can download the picture from it so much easier. And if one tool breaks you just buy a new one this is so confusing. I am at one man one person one owner of the company. it's very rare people ask me if I have one of these tools. I was on a job about a week and a half ago doing apartments where I live and they're very upscale and expensive and the maintenance guy. Had a maintenance ask me do I have the flir tool. I said no but I have tools that are equal any kind of look down upon me. It wasn't his tool it was the company he works for his tool I tried his tool with my tool and I got the same readings on moisture and temperature and humidity when I check for moisture I just look for numbers that are higher than areas where there's no moisture that it can already tell so areas that have water damage I know the moisture will read higher and areas that don't have water damage it reads lower. Also this is why you're seeing. These prices on this where it says buy like new for $800 biy used in good shape$700. Anyway if the tool works for you. I think that's great and I hope you make a lot of money. This is why I didn't give it five stars. Just because it's overpriced and confusing.

Man am I ever upset I bought this for $1,100.00 the thermal imaging look terrible you can use an app for $20 with better quality and I own a few FLIR products. I can’t believe. I was so excited to get this and to be let down. No software to download for reports so that was BS and the actual moisture meter on the back works very slowly. Turning now. It’s a waste for money

WE WERE A COUPLE DAYS PAST THE 30 DAYS AND CONTACTED AMAZON AND THEY WOULD NOT REPLACE IT. WE EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM AND THE MFG WOULD HAVE REPAIR THE UNIT UNDER THEIR 1 YEAR WARRANTY. THEY GAVE TWO EMAIL ADDRESSES THAT DID NOT WORK FOR THE MFG. WE ARE WAITING ON A PHONE CALL BACK FROM THE MFG TO GET A PROPER EMAIL OR RETURN. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME WITH AMAZON THAT I HAVE EVER HAD A PROBLEM.

Works great indoor and outdoor, you just need to be patient to learn how to use it professionally with the right techniques. I have been carrying out damp surveys for more than 25Years. The concept is good but the meter ergonomics a disaster as to analyse the defect you need multiple readings on various surfaces with not straightforward way of changing between scan mode and pin mode (measure). The scan mode sensor is flush with the back as is the IR camera (which has no protection) good in the office but not on site. I the infrared part is extremely poor, and the image quality/processing is not sufficient for diagnosis of a defect.

Appareil de très bonne qualité, fidèle à la société FLIR. J'utilise cet appareil dans le cadre d'expertises dans le domaine de la construction, j'en suis trés content et il demeure avec moi tous les jours dans mon sac. L'image thermique est correct mais ne vous attendez pas à du haut de gamme. Les mesures prises à l'aide de l'humidimètre capacitif sont viables : j'ai contrôlé les valeurs avec un second appareil. En conclusion c'est pour moi l'appareil idéal pour les experts dans le domaine du bâtiment. En revanche le prix est proportionnel à la qualité du produit.
