I purchased 3 Royal Anti-Fatigue Comfort Mats for our kitchen in June. Royal brand is by the best I’ve owned. It’s nearly October & the mats still present as being new. I purchased the black 20”x34” & it’s the perfect size. For example one of my pictures shows it in front of my stove~perfect sizing. I also have one in front of my kitchen sink. The 3/4” thickness of the mat is ideal & is what I feel is behind the true quality of the mat. The cushion is solid but provides the comfort needed especially for tired feet :) See my picture. Another plus: the mats rarely move. It’s nice they stay in place. If there’s a lot of traffic on any given day in my kitchen one may have moved a little but not too far. I attached a picture of the bottom of the mat so you can see the grip. Also these mats are very easy to clean, it’s an easy wipe when needed. I foresee having these for a long time based on the quality. Well worth what I paid. Definitely recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

This mat is amazingly-comfortable to stand on...with or without shoes! I recently moved my home "office-y" stuff from my dining room table to my kitchen counter in an effort to stand more and sit less. For the past 5 years, I have been using one of those $$$ Gel Pro mats. I did not know that I could've replaced that Gel Pro years ago with this superior product! It far surpasses the Gel Pro in every aspect! It is more comfortable to stand on. It is non-slip on hardwood floors. ( My grown son once slipped on my Gel Pro and fell backwards while we were visiting in the kitchen! No more chance of that happening next time he comes to visit!) The edges will never curl up on this mat like like do on the Gel Pro. It is less expensive.AND! the Caramel Brown color that I got is gorgeous! It matches my kitchen cabinetry and it is a beautiful contrast on my hardwood floor.You will actually look forward to standing on this! It's THAT comfortable!Another bonus! It arrives in a big box that enables it to be shipped completely flat as opposed to being rolled up.I will be purchasing another one soon to replace my other Gel Pro mat that is on the floor under my sink! This mat might even make doing dishes fun! This is an Amazon purchase that you will love and use for years!

These seemed great right out of the box. There was a slightly musky odor, but it was not unbearable and I think it will dissipate quickly. The mats appear to be very high quality with a perfect cushioned feeling underfoot. Soft, but not so squishy that you feel unstable. Firm enough to support your feet and legs. The brown color was just right with our darker cabinets. The only thing that is worrisome is that they are quite slippery on top if you are wearing socks, in spite of the texture imprinted in the plastic. I think it will be OK once we get used to it, but I would be hesitant to recommend them to anyone who has balance issues or is unsteady on their feet due to the slippery surface.

I was concerned by the negative reviews, but at $39.95 I took a chance. I was worried about the smell someone complained about, but after a brief whiff when you first take it out of the plastic bag it is wrapped in, there is no odor at all. The mat is perfectly comfortable under my feet and the color matches my kitchen beautifully. I really love the fact that you can just wipe away any spills--the biggest flaw with a standard kitchen rug. I love the large size, and in fact, I want to buy a second one so I will have a mat from my kitchen sink all the way across the counter where I prep. I came back to this page this morning to order a second one (only a week later) and find that the price has gone up $10 to $49.95. Is it worth it? Probably. But I find it annoying that I have to pay that much more a few days later, so I am going to wait it out and see if the price goes back down. That doesn't change my review of the product, which I am enjoying.

Do you do a lot of dishes? Do you have a job that requires you to stand a lot? Do you like to cook delicious, but time-consuming recipes? Do you have a standing work desk at home? Do you fold a lot of laundry? Do you spend a lot of time each week fixing your hair or makeup? If you said "yes" to ANY of these questions, BUY THIS MAT. It's one of the best purchases we ever made. In fact, we love it so much, we bought 3 of them and bought one as a gift for my mother, who is in the kitchen a lot. The mat is VERY comfortable to stand on. Yes, it's expensive...but it's HIGH quality. We tried buying a cheaper one before getting this, and we got what we paid for. Buy this mat. (And by the way, this review is completely my own. We paid full price for this product and will continue to do so since we plan on getting several more of these as Christmas gifts for relatives this year).

After reading many comparative reviews, I chose this one based on price + function. It's a fairly thick mat - I am using it for my home office where I have a standing desk. We have a plastic mat under it to protect my hardwood floor, with a rolling desk chair when I use that. When I am using my chair, it is easy to lift off and put away (it does not stick to our plastic mat underneath). I can stand on it comfortably for hours and not feel like I am sinking down to touch the floor. The black coloring also does not impart any stains on the bottom of my feet. The width and length is perfectly fine for me (but I am fairly petite).I arrived flat in a large box and did not have any funny smells. I would buy again and recommend to others.

Got two of these as an early Christmas present for my beautiful wife who is pregnant with our second child. Lately her feet and back have been hurting her, especially when she is standing in the kitchen on the hardwood floors. So far she loves them and they feel very comfortable to stand on. The quality seems very durable. They stay put on the floor and do not slide very easily. We got the brown color and it looks pretty good with the wood in the kitchen.Pros:-VERY comfortable to stand on.-Durable construction-Color is true to photo-Stays put/doesn't slide easily-Ships flat/not rolledCons:-There is a residue left where the label was. I didn't try "goo gone" yet but glass cleaner didn't work.
