Genuine Toyota - Oil Drain Plug Gaskets (QTY10)

These are one of those small parts that make a big difference when doing your own oil changes. I use them on my Tundra, and they fit exactly like they should with no leaks afterward. It’s nice having a pack of ten in the garage so I’m not scrambling for one every time I change the oil. Since they’re genuine Toyota, I don’t have to wonder if the size or material is off. Simple product, but definitely worth keeping around if you do your own maintenance.

High quality but still, just a deformable washer. Any aluminum washer will perform the same function. So, is the cost worth it? Also, shipping time - longer compared to cheaper ones.

A quick lube oil change place nearly destroyed my engine in a Jiffy. I guess they didn't have replacement gaskets, so they tried putting Loctite on the drain nut threads without a gasket. After noticing oil on the driveway, I investigated. Had to drain out all of the oil, check it out, fix the issue, and put oil back in. I'm committed to doing my own oil changes again, and these Genuine Toyota Oil Drain Plug Gaskets are perfect. I always torque to specs, and they tighten perfectly and do not leak. My only complaint, if I have one, is that they sometimes stick to the pan or come apart when you remove the drain nut, forcing you to scrape off the residue. I feel like the gaskets would not do that if they were made from a higher quality material.
