This coffee is so fresh and so delicious! As soon as you open the bag, the rich aroma of dark chocolate cocoa and caramel intoxicated my nose. I use a French press and I grind it course. The flavor extraction is supreme in just 4 mins. I only need 5 TBSP for 3/4 of a 50 oz press. This creates a velvety, full flavor cup of coffee that completely irresistible. If I accidentally wake up in the middle of the night, it is very hard for me to resist pressing a fresh carafe and get my day started. I've failed this mission several times. Bottom line: you will not be disappointed. This coffee hits the spot EXACTLY the way coffee is meant to. 😋

I am NOT a coffee genius. I drink iced coffee twice a day. So, in saying that, im an amateur looking for taste and uplift. This does have the flavor of a medium-dark blend. I cant say it compares to true dark roast of high quality. But definitely a dark version of medium. Good taste. The energy given was the best part. Exactly why I drink coffee. I would buy again, however, there are many far cheaper options with similar quality. So if this ever did compete for consistent purchases, I would buy again based on taste and uplift.

I like this coffee because it tastes really good and it has great packaging. It actually has a solid plastic seal on the front so you can seal it up air tight, keeping it fresh. It's the kind of seal that is used on high-quality freezer bags. This keeps air out and doesn't ruin your coffee over time. It also has the one-way valve on the front that lets out the CO2 that is coming out of the coffee, but it keeps the air out. Very important! Other bulk coffees come in a large bag with no plastic seal on the front. You have to cut a hole in the bag and then hope they included the big bag tie to try to seal it up. It never works out well, and as you go down the bag, you end up covering the one-way valve on the front of the bag on other bulk coffees. Coffee is expensive these days. I recommend this product to to flavor and quality packaging.

Great price and product

I love the dark rich flavor. There is no bitterness. The aroma just from the freshly ground beans tells you how flavorful your coffee will be.

Normally, I LOVE this product, but for some reason FRC keeps sending me bags of older beans in the old packaging that are due to expire soon in a few months. They did not do this the first time I ordered through Amazon but they've done this the last two times for the Italian Roast. I don't exactly know who to complain to on this. If this gets to anyone at FRC who cares - I'm an FRC Junkie & avid customer - PLEASE hook me up with some Fresh Beans and don't pawn off your old bean backlog on me ~

Using this in Breville Touch (14 grind setting, 21s pull). Americano +10s water. Fresh perfect crème. The espresso quality is dense and has a lasting forte finish with a predominant cocoa nose/finish (think strong euro “sipping chocolate” with a slight bite). Excellent at this price point.
