Opens cans with no issues. Seems like it's a good quality tool. I only wish that the turning handle would be made out of metal as the plastic seems to be a bit thin and might break when opening bigger cans.

There is nothing like going back to the old tried and true can opener I used during my childhood instead of the electric can opener plus this one doesn't take up much cherished counter space.
