Great helmet! I trust it more than the old WWII era steel pot helmet I was issued in the 70s. The only complaint I got is the velcro, and it's sort of a praise, cause the adhesive is tough and unforgiving--you're only going to get one lick at this sucker so for me the Velcro didn't go on perfect cause I have as much problem putting stickers on as I have staying in the lines while coloring. Still, works fine lasts a long time!

This is a pretty good deal for the Price. I checked the Companies web site and this helmet is NOT cheap ABS but a Nylon Fiber shell that exceeds ANSI standards for impact protection and It is also CE certified for industrial safety, canoeing and water sports, and mountaineering. Not a bad deal. The helmet feels real solid and the shell is pretty thick. You can definitely take a baseball bat across the head and walk away fully conscious. Side rails are good quality, strap is good quality. I would upgrade the pads but that's only an extra 20 bucks. Amazon sells helmet pads. Fit is good and firm, all in all helmet is a pretty solid deal. Pretty good alternative to a Team Wendy Exfil LTP. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the pads.

The color was a little brighter in person than the pictures, also you have to manually install some padding along with velcro. The adhesive doesnt seem to be the absolute best on these but they will do just fine. Also only real complaint is no instructions on how to install the parts. Its not difficult but for some it might not be as easy. Other than that its a good quality helmet. Comfortable, lightweight and great for the price.

Got my helmet today. It came as advertised. The way you can adjust to fit your head is great. Putting on the velcrotook a little time to figure it out. Went to web site and looked at the pictures of others. It is the same style as my IIIA helmet. Looks the same. JOB WELL DONE. Will recommend your product to my friends.Again....Job Well Done..

I have an OPs-Core (red) for SAR. The padding is better on the OPs but The DLP actually fits better. And is comfortable. And there are after market replacement pads for the DLP if you do not like the originals. Shell wise, seem to be very similar and bump rated. WAY less expensive. YMMV. I am satisfied. Night vision mount, may need to play a bit with depending on brand.
