Let's do it."Basically thats the album summed up in one. The beats are some of the greatest i've heard from dilla and this is by far his greatest solo effort. The album just flows from start to finish. Infact the only dissapointment is that it end's short of half an hour but thats what you got to expect from what was originally an EP. No Fillers on this album but some of the stand out tracks are: Crushin, The $, Let's Take It Back and Make'em NV.If your a fan of Dilla this is essential listening!

this is a great album and that why i gave it 5 stars. the problem was teh delivery. i paid extra money for speedy delivery, and it still took well over a month to arrive. not happy about that, but happy when finally i got the cd, it was worth waiting for.

This re-issue of Dilla's Ruff Draft EP, originally released on Mummy records, is everything you would expect from the fallen beatmaker-extraordinaire. Its rough, uncompromising and straight up raw, while still displaying Dilla's trademark soul and funk undertones - its these kinds of beats that keeps hiphop going! If you are a fan of J Dilla then you will no doubt have either bought it already, or you will have it on your wish list. And even if you are not familiar with the works of the late James Yancey, it really is worth checking out. The legacy lives on!
