Great Specs for a reasonable cost...
My lovely wife bought this for me for Christmas. I am theoretically not allowed to use it yet, but she did allow me to set it up the “Big Day.” It is an awesome machine with all the specs I could want. Of course, I kind of picked it out but that’s beside the point. So what’s the good and what’s the bad (not much).First off the AMD® Ryzen 7 4800H Processor is a powerhouse that does everything you could want. When combined with the 32 gig of memory I ordered it is great for now and into the future.I have read some complaints about the brightness of the monitor and for those more learned than me, it might be an issue. But I was satisfied with its output. And at 144hz, it was clear and more than bright enough.I also had no issues with the 1TB SSD it came with. Fast and silent. And if I desire, I could add another SSD if I wanted more storage space. But for now, it is sufficient. Just for fun, I ran the Userbenchmark. It showed great results except for the video card. Come to find out, the system was still using the onboard Radeon graphics. This required some setup in the nvidia control panel to direct the system to use the discrete video card. Once that was accomplished I reran the UserBenchMark and I was the proud owner of a system in the Nuclear Submarine category. Pretty damn good. Overall I am quite pleased. Especially since my desktop I built is constantly being usurped by my Grandson. So as to the bad...not really a lot. I kind of thought that CUK would have set the graphics to default to the NVidia Card themselves. Hardly a deal breaker though since with a brief internet search I was able to reconcile the problem. Of course I am so pleased that they include a Nvidia RTX 2060 into the mix I can’t be mad. Finally, I love the backlit RGB keyboard. However I did have to do a search to change the main color by installing an app. Again...minor inconvenience in a really great system. In all honesty, I haven’t had the chance yet to test system heat concerns or the webcam but I will. In the meantime it is what I was looking for and I am quite happy. If your in the market for a new gaming laptop that won’t break the bank, check it out.

Already had windows crash within the first week
The specs seem great.I am using this computer mostly for CAD 3D modeling and Rendering. With some light gaming. For 3D modeling and rendering, I did not see any noticeable difference yet from my surface book.I had windows crash on me during a render which is why I wanted to replace my surface book.Programs:1. Fusion 3602. SolidworksThis is my first time with and AMD Ryzen CPU. I have heard great things about it, maybe that is the issue.Other minor problems:Camera is not great qualityNot really much information with package about how to set up this laptop.

Decent entry level RTX gaming laptop.
This is overall a 4* laptop simply because the Ryzen 7 Mobile CPU absolutely kicks butt. So much so that the real bottleneck is the RTX 2060 that comes with it! It's pretty decent with the thermal temps, but if you'll be gaming for extended periods of time I'd highly recommend getting a cooling stand for it. Fans are pretty loud once you're gaming but I'm ok with that, as opposed to getting thermal throttling from overheating. The screen is just alright, yes it's IPS and 144hz but it just isn't very bright or vibrant. I got a monitor to hook it up to in an attempt to bring some color and life back to the games I'm playing. It probably won't run new AAA games on max settings but it certainly will run well at lower settings. Overall pretty decent for the price.

More than expected, better than I required!
So impressed. Was looking for a gaming laptop to replace my MSI that loves frying motherboards. After much research I settled on this ASUS and the setup by CUK was exactly what I needed. Impressive battery life and a lot of RAM along with easy portability has got me hooked on ASUS and CUK

Fast and Powerful
It has one little annoying weakness. The boot time is slow. The boot time is much slower than my Dell and HP computers. But the computing speed is fantastic, especially for my 30 big real-time spreadsheets.I wanted to have a 17-inch computer instead. It would be nicer. But this computer does serve my urgent need: power computing speed. Overall, it is an excellent computer for its value.

Doesn't Work
The computer worked fine for about a month and now is completely unusable. Windows freezes, multiple BSOD a day, long boot times, don't waste your money.
