Epcot's World Showcase: A Pavilion-by-Pavilion Guide

This is an excellent informative book about Epcot's World Showcase. I enjoyed my recent visit to Epcot. I liked reading this book because it helped me better plan for my trip to Epcot. The book is very detailed about information about the pavilions. It explains where some of the dining places are, the prices, and where some of the restrooms are. While it is true that some of the restaurant prices have changed since this book was originally published, the prices in the book still can be used as a general guideline and can be looked up online for a current exact price. The book mentions that there is room for an additional 6 to 8 new pavilions. The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival held in the Fall brings new quick food options to World Showcase. Some additional information that this book mentions in it includes the following information: Unlike most of the countries of the World Showcase, the Mexico Pavilion has the majority of its attractions inside. If you need an extensive dose of air conditioning, it may be wise to visit the Mexico Pavilion. There are numerous pre-packaged food items sold in the Mexico Pavilion. All of the pre-packaged food items are from Mexico, except for the peanuts which are from Arizona. Reflections Of China is the second film at the China Pavilion to be shown. It replaced the first film in 2003. The Reflections Of China is an impressive 14 minute film that takes guests to nine cities in China with Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai as the guide.

Couldn't they use color photos for one of the Happiest Places on Earth?The B&W photos and cheap paper of this book do not make it too enticing to pick up...

As an avid reader of all things Disney and a frequent visitor to Disney World, I saw this book was released and bought it immediately. I am currently only about 40 pages in, but so far I think it is very informative -- both to someone new to Epcot's world showcase and to a seasoned visitor.

It didn't include a map of the Park! So I had no idea if Norway was near Morocco or Italy - - how to plan a day without a map?? Also the book is ONLY for the World Showcase - has absolutely nothing on Future World. So I am very disappointed. I did get some information but would not recommend this book

Filled with info that's out of date and some that's sure to be so in a short while, this clumsily laid out and written guide is a waste of money. Much space is taken up with menu items and prices, when that info could EASILY be found on line and up to date.

World Showcase in EPCOT is my favorite place in all of Disney World. Cannot believe that I did not know this book existed! A must have for all fans...

Interesting read, only problem is yet another Disney book without color photos!! Still, a great addition to the disney library!!
