Bought this for my daughter who is into art and anime at the moment and she loves it! It's easy to follow and takes the learner back to basics to help them draw the most simple anime face and progress onto full anime figures! It was well worth it for the fantastic results and happy smiles all round!!

Good book, daughter loved it

This was for my 11yr old who reads manga and tries drawing from it - the 'expert' approved of this book! It is a beginner level and goes through various stages of character drawing (apparently the hair section is very useful) so if you already have some experience it's maybe not for you, but if you're starting at a relatively basic level it does look good. One note for the writers - a paragraph is actually repeated on the back two pages - might want to look at this for future issues. But a very minor issue which does not detract from the book itself

Firstly, even with standard shipping, it arrived two days earlier than expected. It arrived perfectly packaged and not bent at all. A three-year-old could understand this book because the steps are so amazing and simply annotated. I personally am absolutely rubbish at drawing but I know this book is explained and shown in such a great way. Believe me, I know that often a book like this would seem like it wouldn't help you at all, however, I promise that this book IS SO AMAZING. If you're looking to learn to draw, look no further than here!

I wasn't expecting this to be an A4 sized book, but to my pleasant surprise it was. Lots of different things to draw for anyone into drawing. Well priced for its contents

Not really sure - my son's a hige animé fan but didn't use the book, je likes drawing tho. Idk why he didn't like this.

9 year old loves anime- this has been a useful tool rather than 'googling' tips and how to's. You can also draw in the book if you wanted to, there's plenty of space. There are a lot of pages and the quality of paper is thick and nice. It's a great drawing aid for when you want quiet time. It is being used alot.

I’m starting this book from page one and I’m on page 24. I’ve learned so much in the few hours of drawing I’ve done from this book! The way they’ve explained the drawing make it so easy to learn. This is very good for beginners. I’m very happy with my purchase. And the book is very thick. I bought this book for myself (29) and my niece (12)

This is a solid beginner guide to drawing, as well as a great reference for different variations of body parts, clothes, etc. Very helpful and goes step by step. Keep in mind it is not coloured.
