Montaigne: Life without Law (Catholic Ideas for a Secular World)
C**.
Masterfull.
This is a masterful book. There is nothing in the entire book that is less than thought provoking to the point of bordering on mind-altering. As I look around at what the world has 'become' as of late, I cannot help but to be greatly aware of the fact that mankind in general has declined....greatly...since the time of men like Montiaigne. It is staggering just how pathetic even the most highly respected thinkers of 'today' indeed are as compared to the types of thinkers who once existed not so long ago. The world could very much use a man like Montaigne, right now, at the forefront of Authority. But instead, all we seem to have are imbeciles with zero clue as 'how' human beings are 'meant' to live and HOW.
