European Style Delta Side Mounted Fill Valve by NuFlush

It's hard to buy things like this sigh-unseen but I decided to go ahead anyway. No brick-and-mortar suppliers seem to stock these and I figured I would just eat the eighteen dollars if it didn't work and, it didn't work. It's not the sellers fault. It looks very much like the part in my tank and the part numbers match but the fitting to attach the water supply hose isn't quite the same size and none of the adapters work with my hose, which came pre-assembled in the tank. The fitting on this new part is slightly larger than the old one so the original retainer nut won't fit and there's no possibility of swapping the old nut for the new one. I even took both units apart to see it I could replace any of the internal parts with the new ones but again, they're just not quite the same size. I just wanted to post this for the benefit of anyone else who's trying to replace one of these in a delta tank. Mine is probably around ten years old.

Great Fill Valve! It came with all of the pieces I needed, and I was able to easily remove the pieces I didn't need in order to get my Delta unit replaced. It's been working for the last couple of weeks with no issues!

Be advised there is an older fill valve with the SAME PART NUMBER that has been discontinued. See my attached photo and be sure to double-check that this is what you need before purchasing. The new model will not fit the older installations because there is a proprietary plastic bit on the end of the water line that is not compatible (also pictured). I am hoping I can replace the water line and attach it to the new fill valve. I reached out to Delta to see if they had a solution and the only thing they could suggest is to buy a whole new tank (from them of course)!

I replaced a pump in a delta toilet. This was not an exact match but still fit and functioned perfectly. The seller sent instructions on how to install the product before it even arrived. The seller also included a sheet with instructions and a phone number for help with the product. Awesome service.

I swapped it out for the broken unit. The directions are garbage. Also, water was squirting out from under the assembly, so I don't know how long it will last. Seems overly complex and cheaply built for what it is. The Sellers were great though. The unit itself just doesn't seem all that sturdy. I should've bought an American Standard toilet... simple & cheap.

Worked perfect. For my Delta toilet, I do not need to use any of the adapter. No tool needed just unscrew and screw back on hand tight. I did call the company to confirm the fitment. Very nice guy. The original Delta lasted 3 year. Will see how this whole up.
