If you want a good scary movie here you go! It starts out strong and doesn't stop the whole way through. Although it's slightly predictable (it is from the 90's) lol. Don't watch with kids around!

What I like is that Mikey is evil but without any supernatural explanation. He is not possessed by a demon or monster. He is just an evil boy.Too many of these type of movies involve the child being controlled by an outside force. This lets Mikey just be a bad boy on his own.It does get graphic and intense. But yet it is done well. And I loved the ending.

I've liked seeing how scary or gory horror movies can get and was very surprised to see just how Dark this movie gets with Mikey, a very cute and innocent looking boy who always gets his way. I found the movie to be quite shocking and graphic in some scenes, but I can't help to find similarities with "The Good Son" script.NOT for childrenThis movie is the perfect third installment of the Child Killer genre, with "The Bad Seed" 1956 and "The Good Son" 1993 as the first and second movies to watch before you venture into the world of Mikey.

Mikey is exactly what you want in a creepy kid pic. One thing that sets it apart from other entries in the sub-genre is they dispense with the whole "are they evil or misunderstood or not the real killer ala Alice, Sweet Alice" and show you up front he's evil in a very self aware way; this lends itself to a kind of Hitchcockian audience participation because you know what the poor people around Mikey don't and that builds the same kind of tension showing a bomb under a table would just over and over again like a gift that keeps on giving. The script is clever enough to wring dark humor out of what would seem like mundane dialogue without the knowledge we have. The actor who plays Mikey nails the roll.If the creepy child/killer kid sub-genre is your horror stomping ground, this needs to be in your collection.

What was the director thinking when he came up with neat little thriller. It should be obvious by now that kids are just as capable of doing little evil things just like adults do for whatever reason. But Mikey is innocent. Or is he. From one foster home to another as the movie begins to unfold. Mikey will do anything to get is evil revenge at his current foster parents residents Using every trick in the book to lie about the the dead bodys in his wake. Jason and Mike Myers kills in silents,Freddy Krueger kills in your dreams.But Mikey is lovable innocent and kills for fun.Ahh. Milk and cookies and murder are is specialty. Cool little thiller to watch.

If you liked "The Good Son" "Daddy's Girl" or "Orphan" than this is the film for you. Great film, loved the whole cast, and good acting. I paid 40.95 for this. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. A must have horror film for your collection. I would give this 5 stars but I have to take off some for the DVD release of this. 4.75 out of 5

Fast delivery. Good condition. If you enjoyed the 1993 thriller "The Good Son" check this one out. More intense and scarier. Overall a better horror movie.
