These towels far surpassed my expectations. Firstly, they’re gorgeous. I ordered several different colors and all are true to color and vibrant. The quality is great, they’ve held up for several washes with no wear or damage even to the tassels. They’re super quick drying, perfect for long days at the beach when you use the same towel 20 times. They repel sand!!!! I specifically wanted to test this claim, and it’s true. I used my towel in the sand to lay out, shook it off when I was done and wrapped it around myself and it wasn’t sandy. They are the perfect thickness, not as thick as a regular Beach towel, so we’re able to fit several easily in it suitcases on beach vacay. These towels are so pretty (and good sized) I would take them to any outdoor event/camping/stadium where you might get chilly. I get so many compliments on these towels.

Bath sized towel was beautiful, no complaints, 5 stars for everything--even softness, b/c Turkish towels aren't really "soft", especially when new. Beautiful colors, generous size, nice looking and strong, durable weave pattern. I would buy a couple more if it was in my budget. As it was, I was hesitant to spend $ on something I didn't "need" (i have a few really old towels), but I am glad I bought the two that I did. Am Going to paste my review below for the "matching" hand towels, because the quality was a bit lower, if I hadn't washed them, I probably would returned 1 of the 2 packs I bought. "color was nice, product as advertised. However, even for an expected-to-be-thin Turkish towel, the texture and quality was just flimsy. I'm thinking the herringbone weave makes a difference..but also there are seams on the sides which draw up a little and make it look like a cheap product from China. I have only washed/hung them (no dryer) and have not yet used them, so can't comment on absorbency, but being 100% cotton, I am sure they will absorb enough for hand washing. The bath towels, on the other hand, were great! Same color/brand, Smyrna Turquoise, but weave was (diamond?) and much sturdier, without the weirdly rolling seams along the sides. I can't say the hand towels are terrible--they are adequate--but compared to the bath sized towels, they are strangely cheap looking It seems like they'd be similar quality/consistency.

Soft, absorbent, well made, and beautiful to look at. I have had mine for probably 7 years now and it has held up very well. Highly recommend this purchase

You CANNOT use these right out of the package. They shed horribly and are not absorbent. BUT if you are willing to put in the effort of washing them 6-8 times (don’t wash with anything that you don’t want to get covered in lint!) AND use white vinegar instead of fabric softener each time, THEN AND ONLY THEN they will be great towels. Yes it is a bit of a pain, but it won’t kill you. Yes these type towels take some getting used to. I suggest starting with one or two to get used to the difference. That way if you hate them, there is minimal expense Yes the fringes get frazzled, but that is just part of owning these type towels. Once these have gone through the “breaking in period “, you will love them. They are bigger, thicker, and softer than many other Turkish towels out there (I have tried at least 4 others). I bought these with my own adult money and have not been reimbursed or compensated for this review in any way.

I will start off by saying that I do not usually write reviews, and I’m a pretty avid Amazon shopper. I have seen mixed reviews on these towels, so I want wanted to share. I looked for about a week straight for Turkish towels for my boyfriend and I to take on our cruise to the Bahamas. I was skeptical because of the absorbency ratings, but gave it a shot. These towels are absolutely wonderful!! I am 5’6 and had enough room to lay out without my head or feet in the sand, even after washing them (they did not shrink). On our second beach day, a storm came through and we had to walk about 3/4 of a mile and stand in the downpour. My boyfriend put his towel over our backpack, and when we got back to the room, the bag was only damp. The towel was soaked, of course, but dried pretty fast once we rung it out and hung it up. You can only imagine how absorbent it was when drying just us off. They fit perfectly in our standard size backpack with wallets, keys, phones, travel bag for medicine, a change of clothes for each of us, and all the small random items. So soft and lightweight. These towels are so amazing and I will definitely be ordering more!

We love these towels for the bath and the recreation. My youngest children love them because they can be rolled in them (like a burrito) - they are quite large. I love them, because I am a chubby older lady and they are big enough for me too. Regular size bath towels do not fully cover me. They also come in a variety of colors. Everyone gets their own color in our family. I also like that they are thin and you can fit more in your beach bag (large family here) - We took them to the water park. pools, and beach. At the same time they are absorbent too. They dry faster it seems than terry cloth towels and feel more absorbent than microfiber towels. They come very attractively rolled up too. They look good as a gift. I would recommend these towels to my friends and family.

Updated Review: I purchased my first towel in Nov 2021. My review of that purchase is at the end of this one. I had rated my first towel five stars. I forgot my towel on a recent trip, so I reordered the same exact towel again. However, they are not the same. I can only give my new towel three stars. My original purchase is thicker, the edges are finished and has an overall better feel of quality. The new towel is definitely a lower quality item. In the picture, my original towel is on top of the new towel. You can see the difference in the finish of the edges. I am disappointed. I really love the original towel. This towel is ok but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it like I did the one I bought in November. ——————— Original review: I bought this towel when I unexpectedly had to stay out of town. I have a different brand of Turkish that I bought a few months back. This one is far better made for less price. I don't snag on this towel and love that it travels so well. Gone are my days of thinking that a towel had to be big and thick to dry myself off. And it dries faster than a regular cotton does. I also love the color and pattern. I highly recommend this towel!

I love these towels. I was hesitant to try something new but I'm so happy I did. They feel great when you're drying off after a shower. They look hi-end quality and add nice color and style to the bathroom. They wash like a dream and soften more with each washing. We hang them right outside the shower for convenience. I love that they dry fast so they're always ready for your next shower. We have a rustic post and beam bathroom (see video) but they would fit with any decor. You can buy without hesitation. I rarely review purchases but felt so good about them I had to. Guess what, they're made in the USA!!

This is really good quality, soft, good size and I love that it's made from 100% cotton.

Not a product to use without washing and tumble drying first. That being said very soft and quick drying. I like the larger size, can pat dry or wrap around body. Attractive colours and packs easily it into gym bag/suitcase.

Wow. Love these. I bought three different colors. So beautiful and very large. Great to wrap around body.
