Dramm 12471 10-Liter Molded Plastic Swiss Watering Can with Injection, Red

I have 8-10 of these cans. Have to say they all start leaking along the bottom seam which makes them useless. Dramm has to know about this problem and hasnt fixed it. Until they do I will spend my money on a better can.

As you can see, I am posting this review for the Dramm watering can almost 3 years after I bought it.I can attest to the durability of this can. It has been left outside all through the years and it has not developed any cracks or leaks. Moreover, the color appears to be as bright as when I bought it.It does get a bit heavy and cumbersome to carry around when full, but that's a price I am willing to pay for a product that will last me for years, rather than buying a new watering can every season.I just found a rose attachment for this can at a different store. This increases its functionality.

Best watering can I've ever owned, hands down. Design is ergonomically excellent. Container is large, well over 2 gallons. Material is super solid. Detachable downward spout at the end is perfect if you need to direct a large amount of water precisely into a small location without spilling it. I love this thing. I doubt I'll ever need another, but I bought a second one just in case, because I will never see a better design.

I use liquid fertilizer added to water for my plants and shrubs. Has a large opening so easy to add liquids. Rounded handle makes it very comfortable to carry. I'm 68yrs. old and have tried many. By far, this is the best I've ever owned or used. Worth every penny. Mine is red, so I don't leave it in the sun to bleach out the bright, beautiful red. I'm ordering another one for the front yard. Really spoiling myself.

I love the size, color and thickness of this. It feels sturdy and not too heavy when full. However, the angled nozzle that sits on top of the spout cracked after only light use. Nothing a little glue won’t fix, but it’s annoying to spend this much on a watering can only to have a piece break.

Don't bother buying cheaper watering cans or those that seem more durable. Like most EU cans (as opposed to US) you're going to get higher capacit and great durability here. My only complaint is that you have to purchase a rose watering head separately. At these prices, for (albeit high quality, durable) molded polymers, it should really be included.

Please immerse yourself in the reviews. Unfortunately I didn't.Spent significant money, north of $60 for what we usually associate with "Swiss-made" longsuits, attributes.But the long and short of it is the Dramm is cheap. The seams of my green can have already begun to separate. Believe I got no more than a few months worth of use.

holds a good amount without being too heavy, wouldn't want much larger. thick and sturdy plastic and handle, well balanced. main thing I like is unlike other watering cans, the spout is wide so pours quickly-- definitely not for watering seedlings but if you need to refill another can or bird bath or get some water around a bush or tree quickly, this is it. May order another. Pricey but seems like it should last some years.
