Best results when you use on dry hair - read my review below for further details - works super
I colour my thick long brunette hair every 3-4 weeks as I cannot stand seeing any greys, I was using a brunette shampoo on weeks 3 and 4 to help cover the greys inbetween colouring. The make of shampoo I was using and buying on amazon is now unavailable so I started looking for another brand.I have this on a regular Subscription now with amazon along with quite a few other bits so its great that you can save money by subscribing to it and I never run out, you can change how frequent it comes from anything between weekly and 6 monthly.HOW I USE IT:Best way to use this so it really does cover your greys is to apply it to dry hair! my greys are mainly round the front edge of my head, so I pop this onto dry hair just at the roots and then pin my hair up and wait 5-10 minutes, then I hop in the shower and add a bit of water to get it all into a nice lather and spread throughout all my hair, I then leave that n whilst I have my legs and wash then finish off by rinse it all out my hair and then finishing off with a normal conditioner , this will leave you with your greys covered much better than if you use it on wet hair like normal shampoo.I used to have to wear gloves with the other shampoo as it stains your hands, this doesn't stain my skin but it does stain my nails so I do still wear gloves when I initially squeeze it into my hand to apply, once I have added water and lathering in the shower I don't have gloves on as it is more dilutedHighly recommend and hope this tip is useful (I saw this useful tip myself on a video online)

Not bad for 5 minutes work
When tweezering my first greys turned from a fortnightly to an almost daily activity I knew my time was up on grey denial and went looking for a fix. Having never dyed my hair and not being a fan generally of the hairdresser experience, was nervous about home dyeing. This looked like a low-tech non scary place to start.First the good: quick, clean, easy -apply just like shampoo then wait a few mins bopping around to a song and rinse. Doesn't stain fingers or bath. Smells quite nice. The pretty good: I've never dyed my dark brown locks. Gave my hair a nice, subtly lighter tint. And felt soft and healthy. Greys became a tad browner. The less good: this did fade my greys a bit so in that sense not bad but they were still visible and the effect only lasts a couple of days before you're back to square one. So if you don't want to see your greys at all this isn't going to do it. I tried leaving on for longer (8-10mins) but developed a burning sensation, a good reminder that it tints in 3m because the chemicals used are harsh (and potentially cancerous ladies. And that's being applied to the skin covering your brain ladies, eek).Overall: a low fuss way to achieve some uplift so better than expected in that regard. But won't get rid of greys so not really a solution. I researched organic dyes extensively and am now using a brown all natural henna dye from the 'It's Pure' range which actually dyes grey hair with no nasty chemicals, leaves your hair thicker and more lush and lasts around 5 weeks. Result :)

Definitely works
This shampoo works for me. I'm in my 30s and have the first signs of greying I suppose. Still quite a lot though on my parting and around my hairline. This shampoo does change greys to a warm, reddy, golden brown. But honestly no hint of grey is left.Tip 1) I put it on my hairline and parting, on dry hair, for about 10 minutes before a bath or shower. Then I wet and lather, adding some more shampoo. I let that sit for a few minutes while I do everything else. It only took about 4 washes to totally cover the greys. Before this I was dying it every 2 weeks because the greys were really noticeable in my dark hair. I think you have to make your peace with this warming up your hair as it is reddy in colour. But I am a total convert. I haven't dyed my hair for about 2 months and the tones and highlights keep looking better and more natural as it works with the greys that I'm no longer dying. I've got it on subscription now and will use it until it stops working/if it stops working (thinking maybe when I get a lot more greys, perhaps I'll have to dye again).Tip 2) use in conjunction with Batiste brunette dry shampoo. This takes the edge off the red, blends it in more with the brunette hair and also keeps your hair from needing to be washed for awhile. It's honestly great. Well worth a go if, like me, you're sick and tired of dying it constantly. Time and money saver. My hair is also in lovely condition. Persevere and try putting it on dry hair first. 👍

Doesn't cover grays but it's less obvious
It smells quite nice, the grays doesn't get cover but it blends a bit more. Hair gets a little more oiled and looks a bit heavier. I normally wash it two times a week but with this shampoo needs at least 3 times. Grays on top of my head hides well, but the ones on my forehead still quite gray. Been using it for about a month now

Used for +1month, Does not deliver
I'm 26 and starting to become noticeably grey. I bought this thinking it'd be an easy way to cover up the 30/40 Grey's I have without going to the extreme measure of dying the hair. I have mousy brown hair and have used this item for the past month or so.Needless to say it didn't work the first few washes, slightly disheartened but thought I wasn't leaving it in long enough I then started leaving it in for an hour or so and washing out before I go to bed, still nothing.I've specifically strand tested this due to my sheer disbelief it did nothing and still no change. I don't know whether this is down to my hair type (relatively thick course and curly) but it's just not for me and I see no proof that it works whatsoever.I've read other reviews of people praising this so it must work for some, for me I'll just tolerate the Grey's as father time intended.
