Very practical

This is probably a good quality product, but I am so used to Vietnamese oud and that balsamic rich vanilla chocolate benzoin notes that oud lovers are familiar with to enjoy this. It's smokey, and barley sweet. I will stick to buying bricks from Etsy and pulverizing them myself. There really is nothing in this world like Vietnamese oud, even Cambodian oud is a second class product compared to it. I will not return because it is a great price, 300 g for 20 dollars, but will probably not buy again.EDIT: this has been used to cut Vietnamese agarwood to burn on an electric burner and it does a certain je ne sais quoi.

I think that scent is subjective and some will like certain smells and some may not... I really like this scent. It is soft, sweet and woody. The scent of fresh cut wood when burned with a slight 'green' undertone. I have smelled various types of aloeswood and for the price this is quite nice especially for incense making. If you are looking for amazing $300 plus an ounce smell then look elsewhere. But for every day heating in an electric incense burner this gives a lovely fresh woody base that is quite relaxing.If you want to burn this alone then the smell may not be strong enough or seem bland. I tend to use it in homemade loose mixes. it works well with dried flowers and resins to bring out a beautiful balance in the mix so it is perfect for what I need.

This doesn't smell like Agarwood, not at all. It smells more like burned hair. Not the sweet aroma you would expect. Completely disappointed.

It’s not real wood powder! I used real ones. This smell is totally different. It might be some chemical inside.

Nice product, but after ordering several items, this one came in without a written English word to say what it was. Had to do a process of eliminating to get it. A simple tag would be helpful.
