Purchased at the recommendation of my surgeon, the NeilMed squeeze bottle and small packs of saline mix, along with distilled water really does the job. Just be aware that purchase of the kit with the bottle isn't going to give you many saline packs. Be sure to order the box of those separately, so you have enough on hand if you're going to use the system post surgery. In my case, I was advised to rinse at least twice a day. Also, it's worthwhile to find out what microwave setting will get the solution up to body temperature or a little above it. On my microwave, 35 seconds does it (the cap with tube goes on after heating.

This is just one prefilled bottle with 2 saline packets for a second use. Since I have WAY too many of the packets, it's most cost effective to purchase replacement single bottles like this.Saline flushes were recommended by my primary after years of sinus infections on/off. For me, using a flush 2-3 days in a row can kick out an infection I feel coming on. I use it after exposure to illness, a day out in high pollen, and really about monthly overall. I do (per dr orders) replace the bottle frequently... esp after feeling ill. This system has been a game changer for me, and this particular bottle brand is the best because it's a bit larger and easy to hold.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I ordered this sinus rinse for my son who suffers with allergies. It comes pre-prepped and ready to use. I’d prefer if it didn’t. It was not sealed in a way that made me feel real good about using it straight away like it was. We used it anyway and it was fine, but I prefer just an empty bottle with saline packets and mix my own with boiled and sanitized water. The pre-mixing is unnecessary. The squeeze bottle works great, though, and forces water with pressure for a good sinus rinse.

I was really congested and going through tissues like crazy. I bought this and hardly touched my tissues again! It takes a bit to figure out, when you’re stuffed it feels like you’re being waterboarded. Not remotely comfortable but it works well.
