Has proved durable over the last two seasons.It caught 2 jar fulls of horse flies the first year and a jar full the second.It doesn’t eradicate all the flies but does reduce the harassment the horses receive.I understand there should be ongoing improvements as it is the female flies which bite and are the ones that end up in the trap leading to fewer flies the next year which seems to reflect in a reduced number of flies caught the second year.

Simple but effective
The product was fairly easy to assemble and set up on site. I’ve only been using it a few days but already I’ve caught around 100 horseflies. The immediate area is now is virtually free of these pests.
