perfect fit
Used on 2014 Jetta. Only tool needed was a Phillips screwdriver to release the clamp holding the filter on the car. Fuel lines pop off and reconnect without tools and its working perfectly. I did jack the rear of the car on the passenger side to make access easier but i could have done it without jacking. Jack was literally 2 feet away so i used it :) .

Looks like it came out of the same Chinese factory as the OEM VW one just with a Mahle logo on it instead of a VW.

Mine failed
After install, had problems with my Jetta starring. Replaced with an OEM filter snd no problems since. I received a dud.

2014 1.8 Jetta
There's nothing in the maintenance manual about changing these, but at 110,000 I figured I might as well. I wasn't having any issues, but the removed filter had a lot of black gasoline pour out of it, so I'm guessing it needed to be done. Mahle makes great (OEM) filters for VW, and a relatively cheap, so this was good purchase, and easy to install.

Einbau hopp, Leistung topp.
Einbau zunächst etwas kompliziert, was aber am Fahrzeug (Golf V) und am allerersten Austausch liegt und nicht am Filter. Seit ein paar hundert Kilometern ist der neue Filter im Einsatz und ich habe keine negativen Folgen wahrgenommen. Kann ihn daher nur empfehlen.

Du får inte det du beställer…
Du tror att du beställer det som står i rubriken KL 579D men det som levereras och det som bilderna visat är KL 572. Så om du vill ha KL 579D beställ INTE denna men om du vill ha KL 572 har du kommit rätt……..

Muy bueno
Tras unos problemas con el ralentí, tirones y paradas de motor repentinas decidí cambiar el filtro de gasolina que trae el coche por este. Al sacar el viejo (marca volkswagen) la gasolina de dentro salió de color marrón cuando tendría que ser transparente, azul (Repsol) o verde (BP). Tras esto el coche dejó de dar esos problemas. En la descripción no pone la presión de apertura de la válvula de derivación, la cuál es de 6,6 bar, igual que la original.
