They could be a little thicker
I put these on an old schwinn that I turned into a purple and white pussy wagon. The grips went on OK with some aquanet but are a little on the thin side. Otherwise they look fine.

Not plastic -- they are rubber
Description says "plastic." Actual grips are rubber, packaging says "kraton rubber."If you are looking for hard plastic grips like many old Schwinns and english 3 speeds, these aren't those.
