I colour my hair dark brunette every 4 weeks, I start off a lovely deep brunette but after about 2 weeks I can see the depth of the colour has gone a bit brassy looking. This is super for bringing it all back to a rich deep colour of brunette.I was hoping it would also help hide the little greys that I see noticable after 3 weeks of colouring my hair but it doesnt do a great job of colouring them (but its not a hair colour so perhaps I was exprecting a bit too much there)This will most deffianly deepen your brown colour all over.I use it in the shower and put a latex glove on to apply it as it will stain your hands and nails.The shampoo lathers up lovely and the conditioner really does leave your hair feeling lovely and soft and smelling nice.I think I will just buy the conditioner next time and will use it with any normal shampoo.When you're washing it off the shower floor looks like you are washing off faux tan and the water is dark brown but it doesn't stain your wet skin so no need to worry about using it in the shower.Highly recommend, great way to keep your hair boosted with rich colour, if you have a white/light pillow case you will notice a brown grubby colour emerging after a few days, it washes out the case easy enough but something to bear in mine, also when you wash your hair with normal shampoo brown comes out so it does hold a lot of brown onto your hair. I am really pleased with the product and will be buying again

This product worked better than some hair dyes. I didn't like my grey roots with blonde bleached ends and dark roots. I feared going orange if I tried to go blonder without using bleach. I used Pro voke Brunette and my hair is now a chestnut brown. I left the shampoo in for 5 minutes and I was quite generous with the shampoo. I love how it covered the grey and the conditioner is a must, as it leaves your hair so soft. I would like my hair to be a bit lighter and I am thinking of using pro voke honey blonde or the silver range? I didn't expect a shampoo to be this effective. I am tired of visiting the hairdressers and using harsh hair dyes every 5 to 7 weeks. I am not sure how long this lasts and how often I would have to use pro voke? As I like using shea butter shampoos and conditioners. If my hair is really dry, I use conditioner before and after shampooing. Or an overnight conditioner with a shower cap is good too. I have recommended pro voke to family and friends, who only had a few strands of grey, they are pleased too.

So I have used this for about a month now and yes I've noticed my hair looks more of a deep warm brown but only subtly, so I'm not sure if I'd buy it again.You do get brown hands as you'd expect but I just use shower gel on my hands after and give it a deep hand wash and it's gone, I don't use gloves as I find that wasteful.It does make your water run a reddy brown so you need to be really careful and even when washing your hair with a different shampoo it will run a light greeny brown.

I am just starting to go grey and my lockdown locks were looking very dull. I followed the instructions (leave in for 10 minutes for both shampoo and conditioner). You must wear gloves, not supplied. The results after the first wash was very pleasing. The more I used it, the darker my hair got. In fact, it got too dark, so now I only use it every other or every third wash, just to blend the grey strains.I think of this as a hair "stain". And it stains your towels, so use your brown towels. You can get the stain out of your towels provided you wash them immediately.Being a bit of a nerd, I tried using only the shampoo without the conditioner. I was not impressed. I prefer my normal shampoo that I can use without gloves and I get a much better lather and a better scalp massage.Then I tried using the conditioner after my normal shampoo. The "stain" effect was the same as before. So now I only use the conditioner.Another issue that I had is that I noticed I seemed to loose more hair when I use this product. However, I have found out it is due to washing my hair with washing up gloves. Maybe different type of gloves would be easier on the hair? I have now tried to wash in the conditioner without gloves. I spent the ten minutes that it was on my head to wash each finger clean and the stain did come off, and I did not lose any extra hair which was a bonus.After using the conditioner, I wanted to know how many washes it would be before it was totally gone. You don't have to wear gloves for subsequent washes (unless you are reapplying the conditioner), but it would be wise to continue to dry your hair with the brown towels. It took about 3 washes before the stain was totally gone and my hair returned to its dull look.I usually leave my hair to air dry, but I did try it out with the hair dryer set on medium heat with a diffuser. All was okay. No difference noticed.Despite the requirement to wear gloves and leave it on for 10 minutes for maximum results and the potential mess if splashed, I like the results and will buy again. Be sure to wash anything that gets splashed immediately. I only wish I could find an option to only buy the conditioner.

I don't usually post reviews on such items but having tried other brands that sort of just leave a reddish tint, I can safely say on the first wash not only did I notice a difference but other people did too. I appreciate that everyone is different and what works for some doesnt always work for others. But this worked a treat I have used it twice now my hair has never been dyed so i am using on natural brunnette colour and wanted to hide those little signs of the aging process lol. Also my hair feels and looks really nice. So its a thumbs up from me.

Okay. I accidentally ordered the brown instead of purple shampoo, which isn’t horrible because my hair was a little too light. I just used it, it completely changed the colour, to a night light brown, I didn’t saturate or leave on too long because I didn’t want actual brown hair ! It didn’t dry my hair out nor tangle it. I have tape in extensions in so I’m very picky about products and these we’re drying at all. I did rinse and use a deep conditioner on ends after just for extra moisture but over all it’s my far the best I’ve ever used. I’ve used tons of toners, Color depositing masks ect and am in love with this. It also smells really good!!!! The shampo lathers nice, it didn’t stain anything I’m not sure why that’s a complaint. I just put it on, and rinsed my hands and shower wall right away zero issue!!! If you’ve been second guessing this product don’t. It’s awesome !

My fault I wasn’t thinking to check the size but these r extremely small bottles. Not worth the money.

Haven’t really seen a toning difference at all but I guess it depends on hair colour. It is messy but easy enough to clean

Misleading description. Thought it was .47 kilograms each. Was actually only 1/2 of that in each bottle.

I used the brown shampoo and conditioner to blend my old bleached ends with my natural brown and it worked great! I think I will leave it on a few minutes longer next time to hopefully deepen the brown. Smells great and left my hair nice and soft!
