I want to use this on a portable gas grill, however don't know how heavy the unit is once loaded with pellets as to not tip over the grill. Any Idea?

The unit is small and light, about 3 pounds, so as long as your portable grill has a solid base I wouldn't imagine it would tip, even fully loaded. I don't know which grill you have, but you could probably counterbalance it with your propane tank, but I doubt it is necessary.

Will this work in conjunction with a Brinkmann Electric Smoker, if so what would the 'conversion/attachment' require in terms of assembly and start-up

Hi Katie,Yes, it will work great on a Brinkmann Electric Smoker. You have to drill a 1 1/8 inch hole, and install the smoker with the nuts that are supplied.

Absolutely! I used a step drill bit, and bore a hole to the diameter of the smoker tube, and it works very well. There are great installation videos of this little guy on the Smokemiester website and on the youtube.
