Alessi Mediterraneo Fruit Holder 11.5"

I purchased this for a hostess gift for someone with a beach house. I had no idea of their decor, but figured that white would work well. While the design is contemporary, I figured that it almost looks like coral so that it might go with a modern as well as more traditional decor. Turns out that the bowl looked fabulous on their table (used as a fruit bowl) and blended in with their white-and-light-blue decor. The recipient loved it! I was happy with the quality (it is not flimsy and the white coating was well-done).

I like these, but they can be expensive. This one is very nice-looking at a great price.

It s what it is. Lovely design, sturdy, displays fruit nicely. Wish is were a tad bigger, but sufficient for our needs. Can’t go wrong with Alessi!

Beautiful and very sturdy.

Modern and artistic piece. It looks wonderful at one end of a modern white console. I am using it as a decorative accessory rather than a fruit holder. Actually I can't imagine it holding fruit since I have the smaller size and very little would fit in it.

It looks pretty in my living room and the red color is perfect. I got it in a deal but the original price was too much for the product.

I have several of these bowls myself, a d I gave it as a gift to a friend with impeccable and discerning taste. It was a huge hit.
