Does the huawei p30 pro need an nm card to work? i'm putting my nano sim into my brand new unlocked phone but it's not recognising it. do i need both?

Huawei P30 Pro can work normally without Nm. The NM card only increases the storage space of the body, and has nothing to do with the SIM card.
