I’ve never had sardines quite this delicious. The spices are beautiful but the sardines themselves are plump and tender so very good I didn’t know that I really liked sardines until now. But be careful because there are whole cloves in the fish and a nice scary pepper inside too but the oil they were in wasn’t noticeable to taste with crusty bread and olives and pickles and wine of course good meal for one

So far these have been consistent and of much better quality than any local store options like chicken on the sea, beach cliff, or even king oscar. Very little dryness, great texture, and the spiced oil is very pleasant with a decent pepper kick. Haven't found a better option in the price range so far.

Spicy sardines caught me off guard. Had I taken the time to carefully read the ingredients I would have seen that it contains peri-peri which indeed makes for a spicy treat. Olive oil tastes clean with a slight kick. No wonder since it contains two whole peppers, a nice touch. There's enough olive oil to cover the sardines which are good sized, firm enough to hold it's shape when lifted from the tin. A few bones were noticed but quite edible. Yeah the nutrition is there, what you've come to expect from sardines. They smelled like sardines in olive oil, may be smoked I don't know. The heat was a bit strong at first but fades a few minutes afterwards, just about right. The sardines themselves tasted fine, no complaints. I probably won't purchase again because I'm not overly fond of this heat though it is a good product if spicy is your taste. I have no idea what else this could be used in, I simply eat from the can.

These are incredible! The perfect meaty yet succulent texture, spicy and insanely flavorful. I eat these straight from the drained can because I see no reason to adulterate them in any way. They are divine.

These are the tastiest sardines I’ve ever had. The fish are a very good size. I didn’t notice any bones. Maybe this is why they are slightly dry, but not enough to deduct a star. They are packed in olive oil and infused with delicious spices. In the tin with the fish was whole cloves, peppercorns, bay leaf, red chile pepper, a slice of carrot and a slice of what looks like a jalapeno. These combine to make a delicious, spicy marinade and give the sardines a delicious flavor. Not hot, just a really nice flavor. These will be my new go-to sardine brand. I had one brand, Chicken of the Sea, that were awful. These are nothing like that brand.

They're ok. Nothing bad stands out, but nothing really stands out about them. I consume a lot of sardines and other tinned fish. I always have Season/King Oscar/Fishwife/Brunswick/WildPlanet and a couple others in my "sardine cabinet". Yeh, I eat enough to warrant a special cupboard all for my fishies. I especially love when the sardine is spicy which is why I got these to try. They are super low level spicy, just barely there to me. Not enough flavor for what all is listed. Ingredients: Fish, Olive Oil, Spices (Chile Pepper (Piri-piri), Bay, Clove, Peppercorn), Carrot, Gherkin, Salt Texture and overall taste is fine just sort of blah. Again, nothing bad that concerns me. Seems fresh and I dont see anything worth mentioning. If you like very bland sardines, these may pique your interest. I happen to have enough experience in sardine consumption that these are likely not a repurchase unless there was a sale too good to pass up.
