I last had a Waterman Pen about 60 years ago in the days of ink wells! At Christmas I was given a new one as a present. I loved the pen but didn't like the ink cartridge that came with it because it "dried and smeared" while writing. I then ordered this 3-pack of ballpoint refills and now love the pen and the way it writes. I'm fussy about fine-tip and black ink. It's a long time since I've been this happy with a ballpoint pen.

I normally don't write reviews, but wanted to point out that the refills arrived bent (straight, but creased in the middle). The packaging - both the shipping packaging and the retail packaging was completely undamaged, leading me to believe these items were packaged and shipped damaged. They do still work, although I don't know what the crease will do to longevity.

Unfortunately I was sent a single refill, not the 3 advertised and charged for. It also had a label on the package saying it was three refills. The single package clearly had been opened too and retaped. Disappointing and being returned.
