Great for media, love the design
I really enjoy this Lenovo tablet. I have bigger hands and have always found tablets a bit tough to hold when walking around. I need some meat on it so I can go from room to room and not feel like I'm holding a piece of paper. The design by Lenovo is perfect for what I'm looking for. It really does feel like you're holding a magazine with the pages curled up on one side. The built in stand is used daily by me. This tablet is my go to source for media playback so having a built in stand, and a robust one at that, is ideal. Watching shows with the kids or while cooking is easy with the stand. The ergonomics on this device are spot on. Very cool that you can hang out from a hook as well! I use that in my home gym so the tablet can be at eye level during workouts.Tablet is fast, not a slouch in that department. Switching between apps is smooth and fast. The screen is bright and crystal clear, way beyond that of the Fire 10 tablet. My old Fire 10 tablet is also a slow glitchy device and this Lenovo runs circles around it. Sound is by far the best I've experienced in a tablet form factor. That extra meat at the bottom of the tablet really makes a huge difference in sound quality. As for the bad, setup was a bit of a pain just because the device was getting held up when I tried to opt out of Lenovo anonymous "feedback." Every company does this and I always opt out. But for some reason I couldn't do it during setup on this despite there being an option for it. So I opted in, got setup, then immediately opted out. No big deal but it did take a few extra minutes during initial setup because I couldn't figure out what the issue was.Battery life has been good so far. Hours of video watching without a problem. I probably charge it every few days and use it for video and Bluetooth extensively.I'm glad I bought this tablet. It really good everything I want in a tablet: great media playback, top notch sound, built in stand, all in an easy to use package.

The ideal tablet
I've been looking for something in between my phone and my laptop for a while and this has surpassed all expectations. It's very lightweight portable and the thicker side is PERFECT as a grip to hold it while reading. The speakers are better than a lot of my other devices, and the built in stand is the added feature you never knew you needed. It currently lives beside my bed, having replaced my alarm clock (and on it's stand it's a more aesthetically appealing with it's always on display and wallpaper set to display the time than the old clunky thing I had) and it frequently also travels with me to the kitchen where I canonce again use the stand feature to read recipes while cooking. It seems like it would also be ideal for sketching on the go (it has the perfect notepad size) but I haven't yet picked up a stylus and explored this possibility. The front and back cameras are nice and the only thing I struggle with is the standard tablet touch screen typing, (which, I mean it's a tablet. I didn't buy it as a laptop replacement, and this is just part of it being what it is).One design feature I do wish they had was a plug for the charger on both sides. Being left handed, holding the device while charging leaves the wire hanging off from the top. (Something most right handed users won't notice.)For only about $200 (and I bought it here for a little less) it's also an AMAZING value considering the brand name and compared to other tablets at the same price point.I honestly cannot recommend this device enough.

Amazing Tablet! Great Quality!
I've had this tablet for about a week now. Couldn't be happier with it. Purchased one of those cheap, off brand named tablets 6 months ago which was a complete nightmare to use. Total junk! This has been a real dream. Everything just works. The sounds is awesome. The screen is crisp, clear, and bright. It didn't come with hardly any crapwear. It's very fast and responsive. It's got a ton of internal storage and more ram than you'll probably ever need. The battery charges quickly and lasts a long time. The camera is good. Takes great quality photos. This is a very high quality tablet. My one and only complaint is that it didn't come with Android 10.1 like it was advertised. I'm not sure what was originally on it but it updated to the most recent version of Android 9 once I booted it up. Not a big deal. According to the manual this has a 5 year warranty which says a lot of the quality of this thing. I'm extremely happy with this tablet!**Update ** Today it just updated to Android 10!

Nice tablet, a bit unbalanced
Works very well. Battery life is not what I was thinking from the reviews, but it is very usable. The form factor for the equipment is not good. With the large speakers on one edge, it is very unbalanced in the hands when reading like a book (long edge vertical, short edge horizontal). It is very heavy compared to a Fire HD8 so the unbalanced issues is thought on the wrist. When rotated to wide viewing (long edge horizontal and short edge vertical) the unit is not balanced in the hands. It has a kickstand for this mode but when using the tablet on a table, the kickstand does not support the unit angle needed for viewing on a standard table and chair (height). The unit has to be tipped back so far, the friction control on the kickstand can not hold the tablet up. I can't find a cover for this unit that will shut off the tablet when closed. Aside from theses few items, it works like a champ. Fast, good screen brightness, and all the new Android features for a tablet. The speakers are heavy but sound great. However, I'm using my headphones so often, these seem like a non used feature.
