First off, I found that using 2 tablespoons was more than plenty to make a full face mask. Secondly, I found the smell revolting, and it doesn't go away as the mask dries. With that said, I strongly recommend you soldier up and deal with the smell, because this face mask is absolutely miraculous! I am a face mask junkie and have tried just about every mask on the market. After only one use, my skin has not looked this good since I was younger (I am 58 years old). I didn't even have to put on any makeup today; actually quite exciting! I really wasn't expecting this incredible result after only one use. As for the price, I initially thought it was a bit pricey, but you get a very large container, which should last a very long time.

Every time I use the clay mask my skin feels tight, rejuvenated, and fresh. It helps with redness, my acne, and overall how my skin looks. Highest value for money and very effective at improving your skin.

I've never posted a review on Amazon before. That should be all the explanation necessary. First something about the man behind the product. I've known Andy on and off over the better part of the past decade. We both have continually run in to each other at modeling castings, jobs, social events. As such, I feel confident in making the following assessment of his character. I can absolutely 100 percent validate and testify to the the genuine sincerity and humility that radiates throughout Andy's life. He is unflappably kind and exhaustively gracious both in his business and interpersonal life. Why would a character assessment of someone matter in this space? Because you know his word is worth something. Andy would rather be thought a failure than thought a fraud. He has no interest in pushing a product that does not do exactly what it says it does. He has no interest in swapping out inferior ingredients to increase profit margins. He has no desire to play fast and loose with marketing talk and salesmanship b.s. His primary goal is to make a product that makes people feel better about their appearance and do so in a way that is ethical and healthy. I know very little about beauty products and the beauty world so I can't say that this mask is far superior to anything else on the market, although my mom, girlfriend, and sisters all absolutely swear by it. (I got my girlfriend on to it after she got a sort of burn scar on her cheek. The scar wouldn't go away for a month. She put the clay mask on it, and after 4 applications the scar was barely visible) As far as people go though, you won't get a better breed of entrepreneur than Andy Hnilo, and for that fact alone I will support any product he stands behind.

The Gold Serum and Clay Mask have long been staples in my skin care routine. But I was in Sedona recently, and wanted to stop by the Alitura flagship store to purchase entire collections for my sister and I. Although I could speak volumes about the reviving nature of these products. It’s what they did for my soul that I would like to share. First off, it's so rare to see such a curated experience for the senses. Ethereal scents from the Santal Black, Pearl Cleanser, and Presence parfum. That transport you to other worlds. Uplifting words on the packaging. Even the attention to detail, opening the handcrafted leather travel bag. Only to find a mystical vision depicted on the lining, begging you to touch it. It’s very clear, the immense LOVE & PASSION that went into each piece. But my favorite part was being able to bond with my sister. The laughter and conversations we shared while applying our clay masks, and trying out new products, like the Meteorite Scrub, and Night Cream. The care that she felt from the giving. And the instant results of youth in our reflections. Bottom line is, we had FUN! And could feel the youth in our souls. At that moment, self care took on a whole new meaning. This collection is an amazing gift for loved ones. And all you’ll ever need on your personal counter. THANK YOU FOR THE SMILES!

Smell of the product is awful.

The odor is a little off-putting, but I haven't tried adding essential oils yet. My skin felt so soft and rejuvenated after using this product!

Mask seems to leave my skin brighter within one use. I heard about it via Dave Asprey and so far have had a good experience. I've tried it mostly with the acid cider vinegar and once by mixing it with that and activated charcoal. The charcoal worked well but left my tub a mess. Alone with the apple cider vinegar seems to be the easiest way to brighten my complexion without too much hassle. Overall it's a good anti-aging product to add to your regime. I'm hoping the results accrue over time the way they seem to for other people since I need all the help I can get. It's really got a lot of Vitamin C and good clays which are both solid anti-aging tools. What I'm really hoping to see long term is a reduction in pore size along with other skin benefits. I'll keep using this because unlike most products I did see some benefits after one use. I leave it on for about an hour which is longer than recommended but seems worth the extra time. --By the way......I LOVE THAT THERE'S NO FRAGRANCE AND ALL NATURAL INGREDIENTS. Please never change that. I saw some reviews that complained about the smell and believe me folks, this is what you want. Fragrance ages your face and if you just use apple cider vinegar you won't notice any other clay smells at all. I pray the producer never adds fragrance. Add your own if you want to damage your face but I think you'll enjoy the results much better without it. It's a great product and one of the few all natural ones out there that does something significant to your appearance.

I would give it 3.5 stars because of the smell. I can't explain the smell. My kids have called it "The smelly mask." They won't even give me a kiss goodnight when I have it on. It's not overwhelming, but I can smell it on my towels after wiping my face and the following day when I wash my face again. The smell is even worse when I mixed it with vinegar. I only use a tablespoon, and that is plenty for your face and neck. The 3 tablespoons is way too much. I use this only once a week, and I would love to use it more but the smell is too yucky for me. I use my Clarisonic first and then use the mask afterwards. I love how soft my skin is the following day. If you're not sensitive to smells, then this mask if good for you.

Update on my review : buying for the 3rd time. Amazing product, can not say the same for the night cream, but the mask is amazing. -------Have used this only a couple of times, I have already noticed the difference,it is a really good product, however the smell is not great, but as this is a natural product, it kind of explain. Just add few drops of essence oil (as advised by seller ). Totally recommend- Great product.
