This is small sized, fits in your palm, but it's the perfect size. I included a picture of it next to my stylus to help show its size. It's easy to use and just right for bruising petals, leaves, roots and herbs. It's adorable and functional. It's probably good at crushing pills, not sure, I didn't buy it for that.

Not just for pepper it works for anything even something is delicate as saffron if you add a little grains of salt or sugar to it to get it pulverized

Although its smaller than expected, that’s my fault for not reading the volume it’ll hold. The product itself is pretty good quality, and should last me quite sometime. It doesn’t seem like it will easily break, and being a mortar pestle, it’s designed to handle pressure. It’s smooth, has clean lines, a sturdy porcelain piece, and overall durable material. I will be getting a larger one in the future, but this will definitely due for now.it comes well packaged and protected. I would recommend this!!

Was actually alot smaller then I expected. but works great for spices, easy to clean, didnt really hold up too well, the grinder broke after three uses. But it was cheap and looks cute.

I mainly bought this to crush up my cat's medication pills to make them easier for her to take. This was the perfect size as I didn't need anything too large.

I ordered this because I work in an animal shelter and we are always breaking the petal and mortar that we use at least twice daily 7 days a week. I was little taken back when I opened the box. The box was a good size but it was in a smaller box. Was this going to be big enough? I will have to say that we have been using this and it hasn’t broke yet. It was small but made very well
