Liar Series 1 to 2 izione: Regno Unito] [Import]

I hadn't seen this series on TV but heard good things about it.I really enjoyed the series, with lots of twists and turns to keep you interested and guessing. It is produced in a similar way to another great show from ITV in recent years to Cheat, also in the same genre as the BBC's Dr Foster and The Split. Great to watch in "lockdown" and always prefer to watch these type of shows in a boxed set, rather than having to sit through commercials (ITV) or a week for the next episode. Highly recommended

I thought the 2 series were fantastic. Ioan Gruffydd (so wonderful in "Forever") smashed the role and Joanne Froggatt acted her heart out. A couple of weak characters (and actors) but in general a very watchable few hours.The only thing that started to irk towards the end is that I found none of the main characters likeable and all were very flawed people - but, then again, aren't we all. Nevertheless this story is anything but boring and held my attention throughout - even when I was shouting at the screen!

Why is Liar so good?First of all, because of the excellent acting by Joanne Froggatt, she is such a terriffic actress and proves it once again in this gripping story.Secondly, women are often not believed when they report a rape. The date-rape drugs are very scary and are sadly used often to get women in bed. Even familymembers have trouble believing a rape victim.Thirdly, this story takes you through so many twists and turns, you will be shocked, the chills will go up your spine.I am very happy to have bought this box with both TV series.

I absolutely love this show, it's very entertaining and really keeps your interest throughout. It's an interesting idea and it's good to see both sides of the story. Ioan Gruffudd is brilliant as Andrew Earlham and a very interesting character. Joanne Froggatt is fantastic as Laura and it has a whole host of excellent supporting characters.

This has to be one of the best., I was hooked right from the start. Its so clever, leaving you guessing, really gripping. I did find my opinions about some of the characters as the story unfolded.Really great Acting, amazing story line.My only grumble was that series 2 DVDs were dodgy, but got them exchanged.

Good story, well worth watching but the end is a little disappointing. Very good acting and location.

Really good watching this. Find yourself getting angry with the police and the criminal. Well put together.
