Not bad, easy to remove ice cubes.

Firstly the price is pretty good. Can't complain there.You get two trays with lids. The description says 'no-spill removable lid'. Well out of that description, the last two words are certainly true. I naively thought that the lid would fit over the silicone tray and keep the water from falling out. It doesn't. Instead it just sort of sits on top. Just.Which leads me to the second thing I'd like to point out. Because the tray is made out of silicone. The advantage is that it is really easy to get each ice cube out. Just push and it pops out. Unlike the hard plastic trays. So that's great!The downside is that when you fill the tray with water. Walking from the sink to the freezer, you need to be careful as the silicone tray is very soft. One little tremble of the hand and the vibration makes the water start coming out. Even with the lid on!The main downside though is because it is so soft. You really need a totally flat surface in your freezer. I can't balance it on top of something like before.The other thing to be aware of is that the cubes are smaller than 'normal' ice cubes. This means that I use more cubes per drink. That means it takes longer to get them out. Then because they are smaller ice cubes. They melt quicker in my drink.The main advantage is how easy the ice cubes come out. Which in fairness I think outweighs the gripes I've listed.In short, it's good but not perfect.

Easy to use ice cube try. The cubes come out easily An issue I have is the cover provided does not fit properly. Also very flexible so if the tray is full of water and you are moving it into the freezer as the lid does not provide any reinforcement the tray is not sturdy and that leads to some water leakage. Once inside the freezer it’s fine

After years of using the ice cube trays that come as standard with fridge / freezers, and the last one snapping in half (no problem, just used 6 cubes each meal time for squash / juice...etc...), we looked on the Internet for some more. After reading reviews on the soft rubber / silicone ones, we thought fifteen quid was a bit extravagant for an ice former but decided to take the plunge. Conversely, it was also only 15 quid so if it turned out to be useless then we would simply revert back to the stiff plastic ones and continue as we have done.Duly ordered off Amazon and they arrived 2 days later - fast postage indeed as wasn't expecting it until later in the week. Washed and filled with water, it seemed very floppy when filling but the lid makes it surprisingly stiffer for transportation to the freezer.The next day at tea time, time to get some ice and commence the baptism of fire for the floppy rubber thing in the freezer. I'm at the golden age in life where things don't tend to shock me, or leave me in awe but the ease of use of this bad boy is a joy - never will I go back to solid plastic ice cube trays ever again. The cubes are slightly smaller than standard stuff (I prefer it) but wow, so easy to pop them out. Plus lots more per tray than the usual 12 cubes you get.Highly recommended, if like me you were a bit guarded about spending 15 quid on ice cube trays, in the immortal words of Nike - just do it. You will not be disappointed. What a great product.

This product was great up until after a few months the rubber begins to smell so, I threw them away..

It lost one star because when you first unwrap it there is a strong chemical odour that comes off it. However after a good soak in hot washing up water and then allowing it to air for a day the smell went away and there is no taste to the ice. The cubes are smaller than the normal rectangular ice cubes but there are plenty of them made in one batch. They are very flexible so make removing the cubes fairly easy straight from the freezer. They also fit in drinking bottles with a wide top which I love - it means I don't have to smash the up to get them in.

With the arrival of a new freezer, we thought we'd treat opurselves to new ice cube tray - we know how to live!Next day delivery which was as scheduled and with minimum packaging.Seemed flimsy at first but once the tray is filled and the lid is on, they are remarkably robust. Lids are an absolute bonus as it allows them to be stacked on top of each other and also adds to the rigidity. Best of all is that it keeps the water in the tray and not on the floor during the transfer!The hexagonal cubes look great floating in your G&T - even if they are a wee bit on the small side but thats no biggy as its a simple fill up and freeze for more.I would imagine the silicone will last a bit longer than hard plastics which seem to perish and split over the years as the plastic decays.Overall - would recommend.
