Great gloves for the price...but no gloves can stop your hands from getting numb.
Let me start off by addressing things I've read in myriad glove reviews. Firstly, cycling gloves, gel or not, are NEVER going to stop your hands from getting numb on a long ride. If your hands get numb, this generally means there's just too much pressure on your hands, for too long and gloves won't save you from this fate. On average, the only way to fix or mitigate numbness is to change your hand position on the bars often and/or, change your overall position on the bike. The latter is normally accomplished by moving your saddle slightly forward or changing your stem length. Either of these can impact multiple things, so you really need to take some care when going down this route. Try moving your saddle by a small amount first but make sure your leg position on the down stroke is still efficient. See if this helps the numbness. If so, you can start going further down this rabbit hole but you should consult a bike fitter. Secondly, cycling gloves are meant to be very snug. Not so much as to inhibit circulation but tight fitting on your hand. They aren't meant to be removable by just sliding your hand out effortlessly. Finally, for the money, these are very good gloves. I have three sets of them and rotate through them during each week. They are well made and comfy. I also like some Castelli gloves too BUT they don't seem to last as long as the Pearl Izumi Elites and they cost a little more.

Nice for. Run small.
These are great gloves with padding in all of the right spots. I originally ordered a medium but returned for a large when they arrived. Changing to these gloves along with a few other setup changes helped with my hands going numb. I love the finger pulls to use when taking them off too just wish they were in each finger and not just the middle and ring finger. Will order again when they wear out.

Good Value.
Well made with exact stitching of fine materials. The amply padded palms made my ride much more comfortable. I didn't buy cheaper gloves, but chose these hoping that they were worth the extra money. They are.

Good fit - Terrible Padding
I've always purchased Pearl Isumi bike gear. This choice was not the best one; the padding is minimal to say the least and long rides on a bike (40 - 50 miles) will result in some hand fatigue and pain wearing these gloves. I switched back to my 10-year old Pearl Izumi pair that are better than these gloves. My advice is to pass on these gloves if you are doing longer rides...short rides are no problem, that's why the 3 stars. Otherwise, meh.

Expensive, but poorly made
I first noticed the cycling gloves were way too small. I ordered a men’s large, but the gloves were a child’s size. Then I noticed the gloves were very thin, with thin padding and a very flimsy Velcro wrist closure. I had to return them. This was disappointing, given the reputation that Pearl Izumi has in the cycling world.

Good quality, comfort and fit
I’m pretty much a daily e-bike rider and average about 30 miles when I go out. The previous gloves I had (a different brand and non-gel) frayed badly, flattened and began to fall apart after just two weeks. These are about a month old and are still strong and firm like day one. They are very snug (a good thing), go on easy but a bit of a struggle to remove. Recommended.Update 7/23: After several washings the gloves have held up well. Still fit snug and have become easier to put on and take off.
