VonShef Digital Electric Stainless Steel Meat Grinder Mincer Sausage Maker

This was a gift for my husband partially because he wants to have fun with meat and partially to save some money. This grinder went through six pounds of beef in 8 minutes. It tells you how long the machine has been operating on the digital screen. Which is nice so you don't over heat the meat you are grinding. It also has a storage compartment in top which holds all the small pieces. We haven't made sausage yet but so far this is a great grinder!

I got this unit for Christmas of 2015. I process my own deer and usually process around 200lbs of pork every year. To date I have processed around 500lbs of venison and 600lbs of pork through this grinder. The only complaint I have is that the feed mouth is small and takes a while to run meat through for a second grind. On first grind it will run as fast as you can feed it. Like any item there can be dudds new in the box. Not all of them don't work.

Please be aware that the only parts that are stainless steel are the grinder plates and the cutter. Anything else is not!I used this machine for around 1h now and it have some nasty problems. First after heavy use the grinder can be switched off, which is a good thing, but it will switch on immediately by itself, which is not very good nor is it safe!Secondly, if you put all the things in the dish washer the supposed to be stainless steel will ware of (like a bad paint). Now it looks like cast aluminum.

A sturdy, good looking produce. Not as heavy as I expected, thankfully. I've only used it once but it was simple to put together and to use. Cleaning was also no problem. (Be sure to clean the wheel presses well before using. A bit of the meat was discolored because I didn't take good care to clean the holes.) I had some trouble at first because the meat had some sinew that I hadn't removed. I removed more of it, cleaned the blade, and used the wheel with the largest holes. It was so easy when done right.

I have been using this product for an entire season on wild game and it has done remarkably well on geese pigs and deer. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is it is difficult to clean up.

It works just great. Don't listen to those reviews about black meat and stuff. Just clean it right and detailed and it works fine. First few chunks you run you throw away anyways. I'm happy with it.So far used it to make ground pork. Can't wait to try myself on sausage 🤗Looking forward to Christmas cookies as wellI don't say this thing is professional since I'm not a butcher :) and don't know, but for me and my needs it works fine.

I purchased this grinder a month ago. Yesterday I ground 40lbs of antelope and venison. It worked like a dream! I made three different kinds of sausage and burger. When I continuously ground 20lbs of sausage it did heat up but the temperature gauge never went above 60%. I did keep the grinder outside in between uses, (outside it was 0 degrees F). I think this helps to keep the auger and cutting plate cold to prevent the fat from smearing. Great grinder for the price!

Best meat grinder and sausage stuffer ever! I was able to grind over 80 lbs of venison in no time. First time stuffing sausage, which was a little tedious but turned out great. This machine can outperform more expensive models I've used. You won't be disappointed if you invest in this for all your wild game hunting, grinding and sausage stuffing endeavors. Even has a built in storage compartment to hold acessories. Shows run time and you can pause whenever you need to, to cut sausage or pack the tube. I am so pleased!
