The Original Gino's East of Chicago Deep Dish 3 Pack (Meaty Legend)

As a native Chicagoan and long time devotee of deep dish pizza, I was prepared to be disappointed in having Gino's shipped to California. However, to my surprise, this pizza was very, very good. I won't pretend that it's like sitting down at Gino's East in Chitown, but was far superior to any of the attempts at deep dish pizza I have tried on the West Coast. It arrived still frozen which is no mean feat when the delivery is in Palm Springs and the outside temp is over 100 degrees. I put it on my BBQ oven and reheated as directed and it came out perfectly done. The crust was crunchy, the tomato was piquant, the cheese was gooey, and there was a ton of crumbly Italian sausage. At $30 a pie it is really no more expensive than the cost of local mediocre pizzas when you factor in the tip. Now ready to give Giordano's and Lou Malnati's a try!

The taste is horrid. Cheese and sauce are okay but the meat isnt good. Also charging 30 for each personal size is absolutely robbery. Order Giordanos lou malnatais or however you spell it. The sausage and pepperoni tastes terrible. Sausage can be hit or miss with companies because everyone makes it different. But nasty pepperoni? How?!?! Pepperoni you buy at the grocery store pre sliced is better than this

This pizza arrived frozen with dry ice to insure its delicious quality and mouthwatering flavor. I live very remote so to receive such quality in Oregon from Chicago is a feat. Thank you Gino's

Decent pizza but tiny for the price. I'd buy Green Mill if you in their are bigger and better.

This item was just as good at home & oven, as if I was in the restaurant in Chicago and have ordered it and ate it.

Being born and raised in Chicago i have a high standard for pizza. Gino's has always been my favorite since a kid. I ordered the sausage and pepperoni pizza and when it arrived (4 days not the 3 as stated) the boxes were soggy and pizza completely thawed. I cooked 1 anyway as soon as I unpacked them. Needless to say I was disappointed in the flavor. To me it tasted nothing like home.

dislike the price, love the flavor, clean,italian,.. I am a cook== sooo !I appreciate the beauty of well done foods, clear flavors, and no goofy,flavors? -{weird add ons}=to myself I would frequent this place' if I lived in chi, I would not lou's, if what I had from there is a representation, i think malnats is skimping on it[ with the mail order], my crust from him was thin, ginos crust is there! !both the wife and I agree we prefer , GINOS-=3.75 stars!! maybe I can buy six at discount?? th u for good food!,,= boo,
