No, the Schleich horses are too tall. we pulled the roof off and cut out the middle so the horses heads would fit, then glued it back on.

Are the horses solid plastic or wood with the flocked surface? Or are they hollow with flocked surface?

The horses are a bit strange with the cover over the plastic and the hair/mane!!! They seem to be solid and the legs are stronger that the regular plastic horses made in China! This is very cute and she loves to play with it!!!

Are the horses made of plastic?

The outside of he horses are velvety, to mimick a horse feel! Very cute! Until I dismantle them, since I did not manufacturer them, other than this I cannot tell you! Blessings!

Not very large; they fit perfectly in the trailer... maybe 3"x4"? They are cute and have gotten a lot of use in our house!
