The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series (Xbox One)

My son loves this game

If you already own all the games, don't bother unless you want to pay a high price for slightly different visuals and directors commentary. This collection is more so for someone who owns some or none of the games already. The Good At the time I'm writing this review, the price is around $30-35 US, which is a huge steal considering it contains the entire franchise and director commentary. Seasons 1-3 and Michonne have two texture options: original and graphic black (which has a more comic book art style to it). If you don't like the new graphics, you can switch it off in the game settings anytime. A few minor game improvements are in older seasons. The Bad Cutscenes and credits are still unskipable in most cases. I understand many cutscences are unskipable in nature, but an optional feature that let's you skip cutscenes with no decisions should have been implemented. The fact that season one still forces you to sit through the credits after EVERY EPISODE, of which there are FIVE, is absurd. The Ugly The game has some technical issues (I have it for Xbox One) but nothing deal breaking. I've run into many instances where the subtitles were seconds behind the voice acting. Sometimes when a cutscene starts in the earlier seasons, it will begin a second or two into the cutscene. When the game transitions from a noninteractive cutscene to an interactive one, the game sometimes freezes for a bit to load. Conclusion The games themselves are incredible. As the series progresses, it strays away from the point-and-click gameplay and problem solving scenarios, but it still remains an adventure game with an emphasis on drama between characters stuck in the worst case scenarios. People have complained about your decisions not making a large enough impact on the story. While the game's plot is linear enough to make every player experience the same adventure, decisions create enough differences in events and dialog to make every playthrough personalized. Even the slightest difference in dialog choices can alter how the main and side characters act, how their personalities shape, and how their character arcs unfold. The story runs concurrently to the TWD comics but is self contained, so you can play the game with no knowledge of the franchise. I would say this game is a very good choice for non-gamers, but they might have difficulties with the quick-time-events. PS Pack some tissues.

All of these games are amazing, definitely worth playing, recommend getting this one so the first couple games look better!

While I got the product and yes it is in English on the game itself, this is still a German edition which is going to be censored differently than it would be in the US.

Got this for my son for Christmas even tho it came way later than expected he loved it.

Franchement le jeu avec toutes les saisons est juste parfait, juste une étoile en moins car je possédais la saison 1 et 2 a part et je voulais le tout, le choix semblait parfait mais il est impossible d'importer les sauvegardes de mes anciens jeux, Le jeu ne les détecte pas Definitive Series est un jeu a part

This is the only way and best way to play all of the season including DL.C if clementine story and what a story it is. The story is great you start off the story as Lee I won’t spoil it for any one but let’s say the ending if session on is emotional season 2 you allone your Owen and have to trust offers at the end of that they is more surprising ending one to session 3 you play a new character and see his out come with his family friends a d of could clementine at the end of this you end with clementine ow knowing where AJ is and we see her go off looking for him. Lastly session 4 the final we start with clementine and AJ now grown up a bit dring to find some place safe and food in this your fund a new group of survivors and have to deal with this at the end they is a massive shock and a lot if emotions and you really do have to play this it is great. You also get the DLC if session 1 how you play a mix if survivors and see they out come this tues in with session 2 and you also get michonne story this is short and is not tired in with clementine story at all it’s good but just a bit short. You also get as extra all the music in the game and art work this is worth the price it’s a great game. If you are like me and love clementine story but this your love it.

Un juego que me ha encantado y que merece mucho la pena jugar. El broche final de la saga se ve un poco empañado por los fallos que da el juego de serie pero en general muy bueno. De principio a fin te sumerge en la historia.
