My Saluki's Favorite
My Saluki loves these hedgehogs, mainly for the squeaker but he loves to play fetch with them. They have been very durable for us, with a nice loud squeaker. We had 2 that have been around here for a long time but the squeakers have died in both of them. So, we decided to order him a new one so he'd have one that squeaked again. Sadly, the squeaker barely worked when we got it and it only lasted a couple of days, so now we have 3 silent hedgehogs for him to chase.Evidently cut backs and short cuts have affected even the dog toy industry.

The only toys my chihuahua has any interest in
My Chi baby (she’s larger for a chi, around 9#) loves tennis balls and I do buy her the Kong small squeaky ones but she likes to rip the yellow fuzz off and that’s not good for her. After wasting tons of $ on toys she won’t play with I bought her the little owl from this brand at a pet store and it was love at first squeak. I then bought her the pig. They are all she plays with unless she can get her paws on a regular tennis ball that she can rip apart. The owl lasted over a year of daily chewing and tossing before the squeaker went and she wasn’t able to actually rip it apart. So we recently bought a replacement owl. I was sad that there weren’t more varieties of the small size. Then I saw the Xmas 3 pack and had to buy it. I tried to give her just one (it’s Xmas Eve) but she’s smart and saw there were 3 when I opened the package and wouldn’t stop sniffing around and grunting at me. So I caved and gave them all to her. She’s in heaven.I HIGHLY recommend these for small dogs that like to chew aggressively, like balls and like squeakers. They probably wouldn’t last long with a large dog but are very durable for small dogs even if they are chewers.

Great Throwing Toy But Small Extremities Are Vulnerable to Early Chewing Loss
This is a very good toy to chase because it does not behave like a ball. It jumps around. This is my favorite in its appearance and design as well as one of at least four HuggleHounds critters in this series I have bought for our 6-year old Lab and his Lab buddies. To our dogs, it is essentially a ball shape with protrusions on the sides and bottom that make its bounce completely unpredictable. The design offers the most "action" of all I have tried. That is an advantage in play interest to breeds that take the game of fetch seriously. Will it survive your dog's chewing? First of all, consider age. Had this been given to a Lab puppy, the horns, ears and feet would have been sheared off before it hit the floor twice. Every breed is different and my bet is that you probably know yours well. They are quite well made but young dogs with razor sharp equipment and almost constant need to chew means limitations in longevity of almost everything short of Kong Black throwing toys -- and although very rare, I have seen dogs capable of taking chunks out of them too. I believe that we can adjust our expectations to our specific dog's capabilities, age and behavior. Our dog is now mature and mostly interested in just keeping a stuffed toy in his mouth a lot of the time. If you have Labs you will understand. But the first three years to one degree or another he could take apart most everything we gave him. He still has great teeth but in his first year he could cut through a tough material like used in seat belts with one pass. That was far more expensive to replace than his toys. We expected an attrition rate and preferred that he be busy with something that was not a shoe, upholstery or seat belts. The real answer here is your willingness to always supervise your little chewer after "puppy proofing" your place in appropriate ways. Your dogs will each have their own particular shearing and chewing habits by age. It helps to buy things most appropriate for each stage. This toy is probably not for the earliest, most ardent, toy lethal stages IMO.Others in this series that dogs seem to like as well: the Duck, Raccoon, and Pig. I have bought these at different sizes for different dogs. Clearly that is crucial to avoid possibility of choking if too small. Large works for adult Labs but for a big dog as in Bull Mastiff, please consider the next size up, the Xtra-Large size. The current price of this Large version is very attractive BTW.

These cute critters are a shell for a foam ball on inside!
So disappointed! These are promoted for aggressive chewers and my puppy bit off the nose of this hedgehog and proceeded to go to town until the hole got large enough to reveal a white foam ball inside! He was able to bite pieces of this easily and he was eating these foam pieces!I really thought these rubber balls were dense material throughout like a Chuckit ball, for example. Tossed the other huggable balls I've purchased for him as I don't need or want a bowel obstruction..

I ended up with the toy
My dog didn’t take to the toy , it’s cute toy but…bounces awkward and stops right away. My dog showed no interest.

My dog's favorite toy
If your dog is gentle, this lasts a very long time. My dog can play fetch outside with one ruff tech piggy ball for a year and it still squeaks and bounces. (Must pick up, rinse, and put pig away between uses.)Unfortunately, her brother (70lbs) cannot hold/play/fetch toys without puncturing and destroying the ball/squeaker. He is not gentle and every single time he gets a hold of this, it's punctured, deflated, non-squeaky within 5 minutes. (Even the largest size Ruff Tech Pig)This is for gentle dogs that know how to carry around/fetch balls and stuffed animals without murdering them. This is my dog's all time favorite toy and we love it so much!

Not durable!
Sadly the cow lasted 3 minutes, that was because Rigby was excited to run round with it in his mouth. Then the squeaker was removed followed by the hooves and now it's in 100 pieces across my garden 🐄 r.i.p 😭

Very disappointing!
After reading the reviews and also reading other recommendations I thought I’d found a toy for Scooby, my year old border terrier, that he wouldn’t be able to destroy! The toy arrived sooner than predicted which was good but after less than 10 minutes of chewing happily on it Scooby had chewed its legs off! At £8:36 this doesn’t seem like value for money to me, very disappointing.

She doesn't seem to like the feel of it in her mouth
My staffie can usually destroy a toy in less than 10 minutes. Not this one! She doesn't seem to like the feel of it in her mouth, but she will jump at it if I squeek it. After 3 weeks it is still in one piece with a squeek. Amazing! I love it.
