So this worked great for removing the paint from my cheap door project. And it removed it super quick I would say it lifted the paint up within minutes. However I’m leaving this review to prevent heartache from hardwood floor owners. I would never use this stuff on hardwood floors unless you are planning on sanding them all down and restraining them because if you can see in my photos it left lines where I initially squirted the paint thinner on. If you look closely enough you can see all the squiggly lines before I evened it out with a paint brush. I had it on there maybe 60 seconds before I evened it out so this stuff works very quickly and lifts EVERYTHING up not just paint so be careful. I don’t care because I’m sanding and restaining anyways but if that’s not your plan I would not use this stuff

I am so glad this product exists. I’m a terrible painter: very messy, inaccurate, and impatient. The result of all this was a beautiful wood floor with paint splatters everywhere. Including one little—or maybe not so little—paint tray accident. I was so bummed that my beautiful wood floors were likely ruined. I didn’t think anything could clean it up at least without destroying the floor finish. I was wrong. This stuff easily removed dried Benjamin Moore’s top shelf paint from my floors. You can’t tell where the paint was. Buy it. It works as advertised!

Removes the paint off good, just be careful with the smell and don’t get it on your hands

I've tried all of the old DIY remedies for removing old latex drops from my original hardwood floors. This is includes "regular" Goof Off. None worked well, or at all. This formula is pretty good. It easily removes small drop, such as pea-sized - they are removed with a light scrape. But the thicker, larger paint is still difficult to remove (such as a partial foot print). I have to re-apply the solution multiple times, and still I have to scrape. That scraping, and possibly the amount of time the Goof Off remains on the floor, removes the finish. I even tried leaving the solution on a large stubborn spill overnight, and I still had to work hard to scrape it off. I will buy another can to finish removing all the small drops in my house - that's a real time-saver.

Works like a charm. I just had my hardwood floors refinished and got some splatter marks from painting the dining room. Goof off took off the paint and did not harm my newly refinished floors.

I rent and my roommate left splattered paint front the walls all over the living room floor. I tried hot water, soap and vinegar which didn't work so I bought this. I think this made things worse because the wax that was on the floor came up with the paint. I'm still giving full starts becaue the paint came up.
