Columbia Men's Royce Peak II Pant

I like these a lot because they look like normal pants. They are a little long, but that might be because you could wear other pants under these. Took them to Ireland and they kept me dry!

I live in the tropics and have a job that requires me to wear long pants. After trying many different fabrics and manufacturers, I now only buy Columbia. The Viewmont, Rapid Rivers, and Royce Peak pants are my daily wear. They are very comfortable, lightweight enough for 110+ degree days, and they breath.I really only have two complaints: the legs seem to run a little long (but then at 5'10" and 240 lbs, I'm on the short-n-chubby side...) and the pocket liners are mesh, not solid. Why is mesh pocket liners a problem? When I put my keys in my pocket the ring always works itself around/through the mesh. Otherwise the mesh pockets would be fine.

I bought these for travel to Europe (from the US). I wasn't doing anything strenuous or athletic, just visiting museums and tourist attractions. I bought these primarily because they're stain resistant and washable. I wanted to travel light. Because they're synthetic they don't absorb sweat and resist spills. Which means I can wear them for multiple days and they don't smell at all (I even checked with my wife). After a couple of days I can wash them out in the hotel room and they dry overnight. They're also very comfortable, they're synthetic but they don't get hot (I would notice, I'm a big guy and tend to get warm easily). They breathe quite well. Finally, I bought these because they look like slacks or nice dressy pants. I could go to a museum all day then throw on a coat and go to a performance in the evening. These pants worked so well that I bought a few more pair for travel.

I bought two pairs if these pants for my new job 8 months ago. They are still holding up, with no holes or any wear that I have noticed! After a couple months of washing, the water resistance did wear off. They also do hold a bit of wrinkles just out of the dryer but the wrinkles go away after you wear them for about an hour or so. They are very light, comfortable, and breathable. I highly recommend these pants!

I'm really enjoying Columbia's line of pants. These are great, water beads off of them. I did notice these are a bit bigger in the waste though.

I am 6'4 and quite skinny at 160lbs. I needed waterproof pants for work and looked at quite a few until I saw these. Didn't want to spend too much on pants I might destroy so I settled on these. They fit great (got the 30/34) and are super comfortable. Have worn them outside of work on long drives. Not 100% waterproof but work pretty good. Lots of venting to keep you cool. They also look pretty nice.

I bought them because I saw them on sale. When the pants arrived, the box seemed really light. I immediately thought they were going to be thin and not fit for the cold. I was wrong, although they are thin and light, because of their wind water resistant feature, they are extreemly warm. Surpringly warmer than some of my thicker jean and ski pant. I love them

Literally ordered 3 pairs of these pants. One will be designated for hiking and really beating up, and the other two for casual wear. Nice amount of stretch to allow movement. Some extra fabric on waistband makes it more sturdy to clip tools or knives to. Breathable and light. Fit just as I hoped they would.

I was concerned about the fit initially and bought a size 36... but returned them for a 34. They fit great. Very comfortable pants. They’ve held up great so far and they are very stretchy. I also like how water resistant they are... great while you’re fishing.

Love the pants, exactly what I was looking for. Something to take into account, though: I am normally size 34, and these pants are big. Should have ordered 32 instead.
