It might work, you might have to twist a few strands together to get a thicker trim look for a 18” doll. If you are making a crochet trim out of it, yes it would totally work. Just single crochet 2 rows and I bet that would work great.

Lion Brand Fax thick and quick bulky yarn. Very good and worth purchasing..

The yarn from Lion Brand is really nice, but what can a person expect nothing but the best from Lion Brand…this yarn is really nice and soft, very easy to handle, it isn’t very thick but just right for what I wanted to use for..around fingerless gloves, wrist, or maybe fingers and thumbs..very good buy…you can use this for other project as well…
