Absolutely perfect. Turns on within 1 second of pulling the trigger. Love the auto-shutoff too. Was able to use it to show my new Garvee 8000 portable air conditioner wasn't producing cold enough air. Also, was used to verify a recent whole home condenser fan replacement was now putting out cold air, at the correct temp. Used it to verify multiple vent output temps, including the upstairs FROG room. Now, if I notice the thermostat temp is changing for the worse, I can at least check the vent output temp. Lastly, I used it to check the attic areas temperatures such as floor, AC unit, attic roof. The temps there remained within a 30 degree range of the regular rooms, as typical for my home. And, the extra bonus of a storage case is great.

Temperature Accuracy not perfect but is reasonable for the price. Works well using in attic, garage and AC air. Seems fairly durable; so far. Quality is good for the price, if you're looking for "close temp" it's worth it.

Got this to monitor my home ac. Able to scan temp coming out of my 12+ foot tall ceiling vents. You get a better reading the closer you are to what you are scanning so me being 6ft gives me 6-7 foot distance. 55-58 degrees is what i get which is what its supposed to be (per ac tech). For the price, its worth it for peace of mind. Works as well on other items as well; stove, oven, fridge items etc.

Build quality is solid enough for a tool bag, especially if it's in the bag that it comes with, and the trigger is consistent. It is an easy-to-use tool that gives pretty accurate readings and quickly too. Changing from C to F is cumbersome and could be easier, but not a thing you have to change between often. I used it to check my forehead temperature when I was very sick with the flu, and it worked great for that too!

Added this to my track bag to check tire and rotor temps between sessions. Accurate and small format. Recommended!

La pistola súper bien pero la batería venía completamente descargada.

Quizá el único detalle y por ende el precio, es que utiliza batería de 9v. Todo lo demás, ok.
