Very fresh, I normally don't eat honey (my husband is the biggest fan of honey and he loves it too) but, this one, I eat a tablespoon most mornings. I have made 2 purchases so far and hope they keep it on the shelf. However, I did buy a tupperware type bowl to keep it in once opened, Rubbermaid Commerical because of the shape of the honeycomb, once opened it is sticky,
