If you're patient, it's easy and it will save you a bunch of money!!!
This was a 1 for 1 replacement for the needed component in the care, and I believe it was OEM. Shout out to Nate Fixes it on YouTube for a great how-to video on the actual replacement. As the headline says, if you're patient and a bit handy, you can really save yourself some money!! Actually used and installed in Bahrain.

2009 traverse temp actuator
great fit on a 09 chevy traverse. was stuck on hot temp only ( couldnt get it to change to colder temp for the vents) located behind the glove box. its held in place by 3 torx t-20 bolts. i removed the glove box and the lower trim piece that covers the blower from the bottom.

Product arrived on time. Unfortunately not the right part ...
Product arrived on time. Unfortunately not the right part. This is my mainly my fault not the vendor. This is an auxiliary door actuator. I needed the one that goes under the front dash need the glove box. The description does say auxiliary door actuator so that is my fault for not reading closer, however they look exactly alike except for the model number. I do believe that the product description could emphasise this difference more clearly.

Great part - challenging access
Replaced passenger side actuator to control air flow to different vent in 2009 Chevy traverse. Worked as advertised. Need to remove glove box and lower cover to access. Used cordless impact driver with a 6 in flex shaft connected to a 90 degree adapter holding a t20 torx bit. Easiest to access from below. After installing new part, remove and reinstall 15 amp hvac fuse in panel under lower right of glovebox to reset system. Presto - air back to upper vents as directed.

Worked perfectly and replaced a broken actuator on a 2008 Buick Enclave rear HVAC assembly.
The temperature for the rear a/c and heat would not change in the wife's 2008 Buick Enclave. One of two rear actuators was stuck in one position (about mid-70s temperature wise). Dealer wanted $400-$500 parts and labor. Someone posted a check list on an Enclave forum on how to get to the two rear HVAC actuators. It was not an easy process as it took me about 6 hours total to get everything apart, install the actuator and then reinstall everything. But I've got more time than money so it was worth it for me to attempt. It wasn't difficult (average automotive skills) to take the rear of the Enclave apart, just tedious and time consuming This actuator worked perfect, once installed and saved me a ton of money. The local dealer said the part alone was about $200. This cost me $27 new and shipped with Amazon Prime. If the other actuators go bad (front or rear) I would not hesitate to buy this one again.

Works on 2011 GMC Acadia temperature blend door.
Worked well on a 2011 GMC Acadia (I have the standard climate control option - not the automatic type). I replaced the "lower" one that blends the temperature. The previous reviews were VERY helpful as this one is just to the left of the glovebox behind the dash and is a little awkward to get to the 3 screws. Removed the glovebox, lower dash cover and side kick panel on the side of the console to make access to this part. My small wrench bumped and grounded the positive wire for the HVAC blower under the dash and blew the fuse. I guess even with the ignition off, the blower wire is still charged. Be sure to either disconnect the battery or at least remove the A/C-heater blower fuse under the hood before replacing this part. Looks like I saved $50 off the dealer part cost plus the $150 labor. Also - change your cabin air filter while you have the glovebox off.

Perfect Fit For My 2011 GMC Acadia
I ordered this Actuator for my 2011 GMC Acadia (No Climate Control). You need a different one for vehicles equip with climate control. The air flow would no longer adjust from floor to panel to dash and everything in between. The hardest part was getting the old part out and the new one in. I obtained a diagram from the dealer on the parts location (there are 3 actuators located in close proximity to each other). It required me to remove the glove box and under attachment to have some access to the actuator. I used a 1/4" socket with a #20 torque bit and small ratchet to slowly ratchet off the screws(3). With small hands and patience this can be accomplished. It took roughly 40 minutes to install. Dealer quoted me the same part for $85.00 and estimated labor to be about $150. New Actuator is working great and I saved a good deal of money. Very happy with my decision to purchase this Actuator.

Perfect!
The part came fast and fit and worked great! My wife is happy to have heat on her side of the car again. My passenger side vents were stuck on blasting cold air on my 09 traverse. I called my favorite shop and they told me what the problem was likely to be and they were going to charge over $300. After a quick YouTube/forum/Amazon search I figured I'd give it a shot for $30 and an hour of my time. Very much worth it. My actuator was kind of a pain to get to but I bought a $9.00 little watching tool that held screw bits in and came with the t20 torx bit I needed. Got the old one out, put the new one in and followed the calibration procedure and now have passenger side heat again.

Exellent all around
Fit perfeft and works great. Positioning could have been a bit better on gm's part but it all worked out. Take glove box out and actuator is (if your looking stright at the glove box) to the left and i believe it is t20 torq's screws. Plug n play for wireing. Work's perfect. (If its been a while that it hasn't been working for be ready for allot of dust out the vents)
