Great stuff I used it on an old mower deck and it worked great. All the rust turned black.

I used Ospho Metal Treatment while restoring and treating rust spots on my Jeep Wrangler, and I was very impressed with the results. After years of off-roading, winter driving, and exposure to mud and road salt, I had surface rust developing on several metal components. Ospho helped stop the rust and prep the metal for primer and paint much better than sanding alone. It was easy to apply with a brush, and I could actually see the chemical reaction working as it converted the rusted areas. Once dry, the surface was much more stable and ready for repainting. I used it on skid plates, brackets, and other underbody areas with excellent results. A gallon goes a long way, especially if you’re working on a full Jeep restoration or maintenance project. If you’re trying to save rusty Jeep parts instead of replacing them, this product is definitely worth having in your garage. It made my rust repair process much easier and helped me get professional-looking results at home.

I really like Ospho for rust removal on metal surfaces. It is very effective and converts rust to an oxide that can be painted once it has dried. It is very versatile and I use it frequently my vehicles, trailers and equipment. I recently rebuilt my equipment trailer and used this to treat all the metal surfaces before I painted. Ospho transformed all the rust and after 24 hours drying time I was able to complete my prep and paint. Definitely a great product to have on your shelf for anyone who wants to treat rusted metal quickly and effeciently.

This stuff is amazing. Spray it on Rust and it dissolves the rust and puts a coating on the metal to keep it from rusting again. You can reapply again for very Rusty areas. After it dries you can paint over it. However you should use goggles/face mask and skin protection. Read the warming label on the package

Ospho Metal Treatment does a good job preventing rust and treating metal surfaces. After applying it, the metal seemed well-protected and ready for painting or finishing. I appreciate that it’s effective and works as advertised. My only small complaint is that the application can be a bit tricky—it’s a thin liquid, so it drips easily and requires careful handling. Overall, it’s a solid product and I’d recommend it, just be prepared to take your time during application.

I get as much rust off as possible(small wire wheel on die grinder does great for corners) put ospho in a spray bottle and spray her down good if it still looks rusty hit it again and respray. This is the first time I sprayed anything over it. Wiped her down with brake clean and used barrier bond and also raptor liner(needed more). Also both of those worked great barrier bond is hard(was nervous at first it was rubbery and could scrape off with finger nail but it’s not)raptor liner is just a little bit harder and sprays a little better(used the regulator from the barrier bond kit because it does not come with one).

Repair rust easily! Ospho is the permanent solution for any rust. Clean it, sand any particles away, follow the instructions on the back and it works! Uses: my lawn mower, snow blower, any rust in the vehicles, or any rust anywhere. After treatment, let dry, then paint. Done! Inhibiting the metal and killing rust dead. Great product!
