Super tire that can handle just about all conditions
I love this tire. After a decade of mountain bike racing, I learned that you don't need a heavy tread to shred on all surfaces, and in fact, light and minimalist tires tend to beat everything out there for an all-conditions tire. I live in Western Pennsylvania, and ride a mixture of rough country roads and double-track trails in the forests. My Cannondale Topstone 1 came with 37mm Riddlers on it, which worked pretty well, but I couldn't travel really fast in rough conditions without getting my teeth rattled out of my head. After bumping up in size to a 40mm tire, everything changed. These tires really soften up the rough roads and trails, and do so at a variety of pressures. I ran these at 35 and 55, and to be honest, they handled everything about the same at both pressures... high speed descents, knarly trails, rutted and rocky country roads... you name it. The extra volume really makes a huge difference, and absorbs a lot of road vibration. Of course, I'm 200 pounds, so I can run some extra pressure and still enjoy the dampening effect of a larger tire.As for longevity: I've been running these for some time on all surfaces, and the tread holds up well. With regards to tube vs. tubeless, I run with tubes and haven't had a flat yet, nor any leak issues or beads not holding. All good there. As for best ride conditions for these tires, they seem to handle everything well, from loose, heavy gravel to sand and wet surfaces. I haven't noticed any performance drop-off except perhaps in really wet, slippery conditions with lots of mud, and in spite of that, they still did okay. To me, this is an excellent do-it-all gravel tire that I'll keep putting on my bike again and again. For full disclosure, I have two wheelsets for my bike, and I run a set of 32mm road/touring tire on the other wheels, so I don't have to find a compromise tire.I give this tire 5 stars. Great product that lives up to the advertising claims. I'll buy them again.UPDATE: 8 months and 1,500 miles later. Front tire still has 90% tread or better. Back tire is finally showing some wear, and probably about 25% of the tread is left and nearing replacement time. So I'm very happy with the longevity as well, and I never had a flat the entire time (I run tubes). Still very pleased, and about to reorder a single one to replace the rear.

Very Hard to Install
They appear to be a very good tire, but were extremely difficult to install. I ordered two. The first one was difficult to install, and the second one was impossible, so I returned them.

Overall a good tire
Install: I put these on tubeless ready DT Swiss E1800 rims w/ Stan's sealant. One tire installed without fuss on the first try. The second tire on the other hand was a much tighter fit on the rim and it was much more difficult to set the bead. After some furious pumping, I got the bead to set and pumped them up to 55psi. That's when the sealant started bubbling out of the sidewall. Pumped them up to max pressure and let them sit overnight. Next day- completely flat. I pumped them up to 50psi and took them for a 20 mile ride and they were down to ~35-40psi. The tire I had the most trouble with still had some seepage issues, so I put a bit more sealant in and it was much better.Initial Ride impressions: They obviously don't roll as well as slicks, but they feel light and very supple on the bike path/crushed limestone/ light gravel. They are also surprisingly good on singletrack. They also a mostly dry cyclocross race without any complaints.

Very Happy in Minnesota - quiet and fast on the road - plenty predictable and fast on trails
My bike came with a pair of sweet Maxxis High Rollers II 2.3 EXO TR. These tires get great reviews in the areas they were made for and I will slap them on when I go AM riding in CO. I ride trails that are created and managed by community pros. We do not ride when wet. So, we only ride dirt in dry conditions in basically flat Minnesota ... we don’t need real meaty tires— well I don’t. I rarely get passed but when I do the guy is flying— I never get a good look at their tires, they might need more beef. Most tires in Minnesota have a lower profile tire and XC use. Another favorite here has been the Small Block Eight. What’s great about the WTB Nano is the centerline tread, it’s nearly continuous so it behaves fantastic on roads, it’s quite and fast I’m 10 miles from great trails by road in three directions so I can ride avg.15 mph to the trails, ride hard and go home on the same tires without comprise. I love these tires. I don’t write enough reviews but I’m inspired now because I want them to continue to make this tire. I want to have this tire on any mountain bike I own so long as I live in Minnesota = forever. I noticed it comes in 27.5 too. I have no affiliation WTB— I wish I did...

Not tubeless!
They went on and off my tubeless rims easily, no tire levers needed. That's nice but not the important part. As for that: This is the third set of tubeless tires I've had on these rims and the first that just would not seal. Not even close. The compound was sputtering and bubbling from around the rim. When I took them off to see what was going on I saw that WTB has molded little ridges across the beads every few inches all around both beads on both tires I bought. See my picture.Considering the description says tubeless, they get one star, and I returned them.

Best gravel tire out there period!
I’ve tried out several different tires searching for the perfect one and the Nano’s are my favorite! I like pushing my gravel bike to it’s limits And have never had any issues. Feels good on the road but on gravel they feel unstoppable. The grip like no other and roll extremely well. I take my bike down a lot of single track trails that are clearly meant for mountain bikes but with these tires I feel like I can conquer them all! I like them so much that I bought the tan wall version and the all black. I’m running them tubeless and have rode around with 20 PSI on singletrack trails and not had a single burp. I’ve rubbed the tires sidewalls on tons and tons of sharp rocks and have not had a single scratch on them. I honestly can’t express how much I like these tires!

NOT TUBELESS
I spent quite a bit of time researching a tire choice for the season, based off of the Amazon ad and the information available on the manufacturer website I decided to order a set of nano tires and set them up tubeless. I bought this tire for an upcoming gravel race, I ended up buying what I needed to install the tubeless tire, I was really looking forward to being able to use this immediately for training for an upcoming race as the weather in my area has turned. So as a consolation, I am going to use this with tubes, and hope that I’m still satisfied with the tire. However, I am extremely disappointed with WTB, as I have used their Tires in the past. Even though this seems like a small detail, it has thrown a wrench in my bike set up plan for this upcoming race. With the closest bike shop to me being about an hour away i’m going to carry-on with my training as planned.

Do not hold air
These do not hold air. I could not get them installed properly. So I had my local bike shop install them as well. They seemed to stay inflated but felt a bit weird going around corners and I lost all air to one after about 10km. So I'm returning these and buying some real tires at my local shop. I think the designer fell asleep at the job, production cut costs and marketing WAY oversold these.

Hors route excellent
Petite bande de roulement au centre, si vous faites moitié/moitié regarder pour une bande de roulement plus forte
