Fits perfectly, as advertised
Used this to go from a new wood stove with 6-inch flue to existing 8-inch stove pipe. Works just fine.

Perfect and impossible to source locally.
Just what I needed. TSC and Lowes do not carry this type of piece. If you're using the 6" to 8" increaser/reducer to go from a 6" stove pipe to an 8" chimney, you're doing it wrong without this. The crimps have to be on the 6" side down to the stove. Crimped 8" should go in the uncrimped 8" end of this adapter. Don't mess around with fire in your house if you aren't comfortable with it.
