I can fit two regular sized legal pads with ease

What is the depth in inches of the interior storage compartment?

The discription says 1.63 inches so I guess that's how deep it is.

What size notepad can you fit on the inside clipboard?

I keep one of the larger sized legal pads in mine. I want to say the dimensions of my pad are either 8.5" by 11" or 8.5" by 14*. Either way it's pretty decent sized paper. The clipboard comfortably holds anything printed on standard sized paper you might encounter while working.
