Listen to your lights and other plugged in devices in your house at 540 AM with this radio. You aren't the only one listening.
Nice little radio for checking equiptment rfi. It picks up channels underground so I am sure if you were out in the open camping or something it would make a nice portable radio. It is pretty cheaply made but you get what you pay for and it works through all bands as far as I can tell. More of a novelty thing for me but with some fine tuning you do get some different stations.

What a piece of garbage we have here. I returned two of these "things that look like radios". Medium Wave reception is non existent. I mean nothing, nada, zilch. No exaggeration, really. I was outdoors with no electrical interference to contend with. Shortwave is deaf as well. Maybe there is a bad batch of these radio out in the market. I have a hard time believing Degen Quality Control can be this bad. On FM only a couple of stations were received. The sliding analog frequency indicator is slanted on an angle. I thought maybe the first one I received was defective, but both were the same....Terrible. Not worthy to call these radios. AVOID.

Fills the bill...
This radio does what is claimed worked fine right out of the box. The only thing people should be aware of is the "soft" plastic construction. If you handle it roughly it will break. That being said, I fully expect this radio to last me quite a while and perform as I expect. Remember too for the price there is a lot there.

The unit would not charge. With a very short return policy of less than a month it was imposible to get a refund on a faulty product after it was gifted.
